Transcribe Galaxy Watch voice memos long thoughts, recorded on the wrist.
A memo recorded with Voice Recorder on a Galaxy Watch syncs to the paired phone, where you can upload the file here, up to 10 hours or 5 GB; a 1-hour memo comes back as text in about 2 minutes. A month of daily 45-minute memos is 1,350 minutes, which the $12 pack of 2,000 minutes covers after the first 20 minutes free.
From the wrist to written notes
The watch records; the phone keeps the file; the upload happens on the phone.
Where the memo lands
Once synced, watch recordings usually show up in the Samsung Voice Recorder app on the phone, often under a separate category for watch recordings. From there, share the file to Google Drive and paste the link, or tap the upload box on upload page and browse to it. If sync is off, check the Voice Recorder settings on the watch and in the Wearable app.
How long a watch can record
Free storage and battery on the watch limit how long a single memo can run, so a very long session may come out shorter than planned. For recordings of several hours, keep the watch charged or record on the phone instead. Watch recordings are usually M4A, which keeps an hour near 57.6 MB at 128 kbps.
A month of daily memos
A 45-minute memo every day for thirty days adds up to 1,350 minutes. That is beyond the $6 pack of 500 minutes, so it sits on the $12 pack of 2,000 minutes at $0.36 an audio hour, leaving 650 minutes. A single week, 315 minutes, fits the $6 pack.
Spoken notes, sorted
Each memo returns with a brief of the ideas, chapters wherever the subject changed, and the names, numbers and dates you said. Ask the chat what you planned for the garden in spring and it finds the minute. If someone else joins the memo, they are named in the summary and key quotes.

FAQ
Galaxy Watch memos, answered.
How quickly is a 1-hour watch memo transcribed?
In about 2 minutes, since each hour of audio takes about 2. A 10-minute memo is back in seconds, and a 3-hour session in about 6 minutes.
Can I upload straight from the watch?
Not from the watch itself. Let the memo sync to the paired phone, then upload it from the phone's browser or share it to Google Drive and paste the link. WhipScribe has no app on the watch.
What do the memos cost?
First-time visitors get the first 20 minutes free, and a longer memo is previewed until a pack from $6 transcribes the rest. A week of daily 45-minute memos, 315 minutes, fits the $6 pack of 500 minutes; a full month goes on the $12 pack. Unused minutes stay on the account.
I have dozens of short memos. Should they be one file?
Upload each one if they stand alone. For one long document from many memos, join them in order in an audio editor and upload a single file, up to 10 hours or 5 GB.
I record in two languages. Does that work?
Yes. The main language of each memo is detected automatically from 99, and switches between languages inside one memo are handled.
Which exports are available, and are my memos private?
Each memo exports as TXT, DOCX, SRT, VTT and JSON. Personal memos are transcribed on our own servers and never used for training, and each one can be deleted with its text from your Library.
