Transcribe long Podcastle recordings once the episode is downloaded.
A long Podcastle recording is transcribed by downloading the episode or session audio from Podcastle and uploading it here, and a 2-hour recording is text in about 4 minutes. The first 20 minutes are free, and eight 2-hour sessions a month, 960 minutes, fit the $12 pack of 2,000 minutes.
From studio to text
Podcastle records and edits the session. You bring the finished file here.
Download, then upload
Podcastle lets you export or download the project once it is edited; the options and formats depend on your plan and settings, so check the export menu. An audio export is the smallest choice. Upload that file here, and the transcript is ready about four minutes after a two-hour upload finishes. If the episode also went out on YouTube or a podcast feed, pasting that link skips the upload altogether.
Video exports and the 2 GB line
If the session was recorded with cameras, a two-hour high-resolution video export can run to several gigabytes. Before your first pack the limit is 2 GB per upload; with a pack on the account each file may reach 5 GB or 10 hours. Exporting the audio alone sidesteps the question for a transcript.
A month of sessions
Eight two-hour sessions a month come to 960 minutes. The $12 pack of 2,000 minutes holds them with 1,040 left, so the next month starts partly paid for. A single two-hour session uses 120 of the 500 minutes in the $6 pack.
More than the words
You get a brief of the conversation, timestamped chapters, and the names, numbers and dates that came up. Each guest is named in the summary, key quotes and chapters, and the chat over the transcript answers questions like where the pricing topic started.
After the recording
The edit is done. The show notes, chapters and captions are still blank.

FAQ
Podcastle recordings: questions people ask.
Is there a Podcastle integration?
No. WhipScribe has no plugin, bot or connection inside Podcastle. Download the recording from Podcastle and upload the file here; if you also published it to YouTube or a podcast feed, you can paste that link instead.
Which file should I download?
The edited episode as audio is the simplest; formats depend on your Podcastle plan and export settings, so check the export menu. A video export works too, as long as it is under 2 GB before a pack and under 5 GB or 10 hours with one. If you recorded separate tracks for each guest, upload the mixed episode so the conversation reads in order.
Do I need consent from my guests?
Recording a call needs the consent that the law where you are requires. Podcastle sessions are usually set up with guests who know they are being recorded, which is the simple case.
How long does processing take?
About 2 minutes per audio hour, so a 2-hour session takes about 4 minutes and a 3-hour one about 6. Larger files take longer to upload than to transcribe.
What does a busy month cost?
On a first visit, 20 minutes are free. Eight 2-hour sessions are 960 minutes, on the $12 pack of 2,000. If you record twice that, 1,920 minutes still fits the same pack.
Is the recording kept private?
Sessions are transcribed on our own servers and never used to train models. You can delete the file and its transcript whenever you want.
