Transcribe long streams you voiced on a Razer Seiren paste the VOD, read the whole broadcast.
A 5-hour stream voiced on a Razer Seiren comes back as text in about 10 minutes: paste the Twitch, Kick or YouTube VOD link, or upload the recording your streaming software saved. The first 20 minutes are free on a first visit, and the 300 minutes fit the $6 pack of 500 minutes with 200 to spare.
Mic on, broadcast long
The Seiren only carries your voice into the computer. The stream itself lives on the platform or in your recordings folder, and either one reaches WhipScribe.
The link is the easy path
A Seiren is a USB microphone, so it saves nothing on its own; your broadcast software does the recording, and the platform keeps the VOD. Twitch, Kick and YouTube live replays can be pasted as a link, so a multi-gigabyte video never has to leave your machine. Stream VODs over 6 hours start once a pack is on the account.
Why the video file is heavy
A stream recorded at about 6 Mbps runs near 2.7 GB an hour, so five hours is roughly 13.5 GB, well past the 5 GB per-file ceiling. If you want to upload rather than paste a link, record or export the audio alone: at 160 kbps, five hours is about 360 MB.
Game audio and your voice
Music, sound effects and crowd noise are not transcribed; the speech is. A Seiren placed close to your mouth with the game turned down in your mix keeps commentary clean. If your software can record the mic on its own audio track, that track makes the tidiest upload of all.
What the broadcast turns into
The stream returns as a brief with the thesis and takeaways, chapters with timestamps you can paste into the VOD description, the names, numbers and dates you said, and the questions chat asked that you answered on air. A chat over the transcript finds the moment you explained a strategy or announced a schedule.
Long streams, the usual problem
Five hours of commentary is the content nobody rewatches to find one sentence.
✗ Without a transcript
The VOD exists; finding anything in it does not.
- Scrubbing a 5-hour VOD for one clip
- A video file three times the size limit
- Chapters typed by hand, if ever
- Captions skipped on long broadcasts
- Viewer questions lost after the stream
- Highlights chosen from memory
✓ With the VOD link pasted
One link, the whole broadcast as text.
- Nothing to download or split
- Five hours of talk ready in roughly 10 minutes
- Timed chapters for the description
- SRT and VTT caption files
- Answers to chat listed
- A $6 pack still 200 minutes in credit after one stream

FAQ
Razer Seiren streams, the common questions.
How long does a 5-hour stream take to transcribe?
Around 10 minutes, at about 2 minutes per hour of audio. With a pasted VOD link there is no upload wait either; the proof page shows 9.31 hours finished in 1,033 seconds.
What will a month of streams cost?
Twelve 5-hour streams are 3,600 minutes, which fits the $24 pack of 5,000 minutes with 1,400 left. A single 5-hour stream uses 300 of the $6 pack's 500 minutes, after the first 20 minutes free on a first visit.
My stream ran 11 hours. Can it go in one piece?
One file holds up to 10 hours, so an 11-hour broadcast goes in as two parts. Export the first ten hours and the remainder separately, or split at a natural break, then read them as two transcripts.
Which file type does my software save?
It depends on your settings: streaming software commonly writes MKV or MP4, and audio-only exports are often M4A, MP3 or WAV. Most of these upload as they are; if one is refused, remux or convert it to MP4 or MP3 first. The upload box here takes files up to 500 MB, and a larger one continues on the main upload page, still up to 10 hours or 5 GB.
Is there a Razer or Twitch plugin?
No. WhipScribe has no integration with Razer software, no extension and no bot in your chat. It works on the finished recording or the VOD link after the stream ends.
Which files come back, and who sees my stream?
Five exports: TXT, DOCX, SRT, VTT and JSON. Your broadcast is transcribed on our own servers and is never used for training.
