Transcribe long Restream multistreams from whichever replay is easiest.
A Restream multistream is transcribed by pasting the replay link from YouTube, Twitch or Kick, or by uploading the recording you download from Restream, and a 5-hour stream is text in about 10 minutes. The first 20 minutes are free, and a 300-minute stream fits the $6 pack of 500 minutes with 200 to spare.
One stream, many replays
Restream sent the show everywhere at once. Pick the copy that is easiest to reach.
Use a destination's replay
When a multistream goes out to YouTube, Twitch or Kick, each of those keeps its own replay. Paste that VOD link and we fetch the audio directly, with no download and no file size to worry about. A YouTube replay is often the simplest, since it stays up after the stream ends.
Or download the recording
Restream can keep a recording of the stream, depending on your plan and settings; check the recordings area of your account. Download it and upload the file here. Those downloads are usually MP4, and long ones get large, which is where the next card matters.
Why a 5-hour file can be too big
At 6 Mbps, a stream uses about 2.7 GB an hour, so a 5-hour MP4 is roughly 13.5 GB, above the 5 GB per file we accept. Paste the replay link instead, or export the audio alone: a 5-hour 128 kbps MP3 is about 290 MB. Stream VODs over 6 hours, and uploads over 2 GB, start once a pack is on the account.
What the stream turns into
A brief of what happened, chapters with timestamps for the VOD description, and the names, numbers and dates said on stream. Hosts and guests are named in the summary, key quotes and chapters, and in-game music or alerts are not written out; the talk is.

FAQ
Restream recordings: questions and answers.
Is there a Restream integration?
No. WhipScribe has no connection, plugin or bot in Restream. Paste the replay from YouTube, Twitch or Kick, or download the recording from Restream and upload it.
Which replay should I paste?
Any destination that kept a public replay: YouTube, Twitch or Kick. Platforms we cannot read from a link, such as some social video sites, need the recording downloaded and uploaded instead.
How long does a 5-hour stream take?
About 10 minutes, at roughly 2 minutes per audio hour. A 3-hour stream takes about 6.
What about streams longer than 6 or 10 hours?
Stream replays over 6 hours start once a pack is on the account. Any single recording may be up to 10 hours; a longer marathon has to be split into two files and uploaded.
What does a month of streaming cost?
The first 20 minutes are on us the first time. Four weekly 3-hour streams total 720 minutes, on the $12 pack of 2,000. One 5-hour stream fits the $6 pack of 500.
Is the stream audio kept private?
Streams are transcribed on our own servers and never used to train models. You can delete the recording and the text whenever you like.
