Transcribe a 4-hour livestream straight from the replay.
A 4-hour livestream is 240 minutes of audio, and once the broadcast has ended its replay link comes back as text in about 8 minutes; the video behind it is usually several gigabytes, so pasting the link beats downloading. It fits the $6 pack of 500 minutes with 260 left, and the first 20 minutes are free to check before you pay.
An afternoon on air
Four hours of broadcast turned into something people can read, quote and search.
The replay link is the file
A four-hour broadcast saved at 1080p tends to run from 6 to 11 GB, depending on bitrate, and that is before anyone has opened an editor. When the stream went out on YouTube, Twitch, Kick or Vimeo, copy the replay link and paste it here; we fetch the audio on our side, so nothing heavy crosses your connection.
Ready before the audience logs off
Processing runs at about 2 minutes per hour of audio, so 240 minutes typically lands in about 8. Our published run did 9.31 hours in 1,033 seconds, which you can check at /proof/long-files. The tab can close; the transcript waits in your Library.
Built around the run of show
Organisations livestream conference panels, product launches, church services, fundraisers and community forums, and each has segments. Chapters mark the welcome, every panel or reading, the appeal, and the closing questions, each with a start time, so the recap writer jumps to the part they need.
Minutes left over
The $6 pack of 500 minutes takes one 4-hour livestream and keeps 260 minutes for the next one, which is enough for a second broadcast of just over four hours. A weekly four-hour show is 960 minutes a month and fits the $12 pack of 2,000 minutes with 1,040 to spare.
After the stream ends
A long replay that nobody watches twice.
✗ Leaving it as video
The replay sits on the channel, and the one quote someone needs is buried somewhere in the third hour.
- Scrubbing four hours for one remark
- Several gigabytes to download first
- Platform captions with no structure
- Upload tools that cap at an hour or two
- Cutting the broadcast into pieces
- Recap notes written from memory
✓ Turning it into text
One link in, one document out, with timestamps that point back into the replay.
- About 8 minutes for 240 minutes
- Paste the link, keep your bandwidth
- Segments as timestamped chapters
- Hosts and panellists named in the summary
- SRT and VTT for the replay
- 260 minutes still in the $6 pack

FAQ
A 4-hour livestream, the common questions.
How long does a 4-hour livestream take to transcribe?
About 8 minutes after the replay has been fetched, at roughly 2 minutes per hour of audio. Fetching a long replay adds a little time at the start, and you do not need to keep the page open while it runs.
What will a 4-hour livestream cost?
It uses 240 minutes. A first-time visitor gets the first 20 minutes free, and the $6 pack of 500 minutes transcribes the rest from where the preview stopped, leaving 260 minutes. Packs are one-time purchases and the credits never expire.
Which replay links can I paste?
YouTube videos and live replays, Twitch and Kick VODs, Vimeo links and Google Drive share links all paste straight in. For a replay on another platform, download the recording and upload the file instead.
Can it transcribe while we are still live?
No. It works on the recording after the broadcast has ended, and no bot joins your stream. Paste the replay link once the platform has finished processing the VOD.
We recorded locally in OBS. Will a 4-hour file upload?
A video file up to 2 GB uploads before you buy a pack, and up to 5 GB once a pack is on the account. A 1080p local recording of four hours often goes past that, so export the audio track, which is a couple of hundred megabytes, and upload that.
What do we get back, and is the broadcast kept private?
A brief with the main points and takeaways, timestamped chapters, the names, numbers and dates that were said, and a chat over the transcript, with TXT, DOCX, SRT, VTT and JSON exports. Recordings are transcribed on our own servers and are never used for training.
