Group calls and classroom lessons · link or file · about 2 min per audio hour

Transcribe Skool calls and classroom videos every call your group records, turned into text.

A 1-hour Skool community call becomes a transcript in about 2 minutes, and a classroom lesson hosted on YouTube or Vimeo can be pasted as a link instead of uploaded. Three 1-hour calls a week for a month, 720 minutes, fit the $12 pack of 2,000 minutes, the first 20 minutes are free, and WhipScribe does not connect to Skool: it works on the recording or the link you give it.

Packs from $6, credits never expire · then from $0.36/hour · Credits never expire · Never used to train AI
✓One hour in about 2 minutes · ✓Links work, no download needed · ✓No bot on your calls · ✓Recordings never train a model

Calls and lessons, both covered

A group that meets three times a week makes more video than anyone can rewatch.

Classroom lessons by link

Many Skool classrooms play videos embedded from YouTube, Vimeo or Loom. If a lesson sits on YouTube or Vimeo, paste that video's link here; a private YouTube video cannot be fetched, so use an unlisted one or upload the file. For Loom and other hosts, download the video first.

Calls from your call tool

Group calls are often run in Zoom or a similar tool and recorded there, or held as a live stream. The recording is usually an MP4 in the tool's cloud or on the host's computer. Upload it whole; one file can be 10 hours or 5 GB.

A month of calls, priced

Three 1-hour calls a week are about 720 minutes a month, on the $12 pack of 2,000 minutes. A classroom of 40 lessons at 12 minutes each is 480 minutes and fits the $6 pack of 500.

A call archive members use

Each call returns with a brief, chapters with timestamps, the questions answered and the names, numbers and dates mentioned. Post the chapters with the replay, and use the chat over the transcript to find the call where a topic came up.

When calls pile up

By month three, nobody remembers which call answered which question.

✗ Call replays only

Hours of answers locked in video.

  • The same question answered on four calls
  • Members skipping replays that run an hour
  • Notes typed by an admin after every call
  • Lessons with no captions or text version
  • A meeting bot in a call members joined to talk
  • Splitting long calls to fit a size cap

✓ Calls and lessons with text

Every call searchable, every lesson readable.

  • About 2 minutes per hour of call
  • Lesson links pasted, no download
  • A chapter wherever a member raises something new
  • Names and numbers said on the call
  • SRT or VTT for the classroom video
  • A month of calls on one $12 pack

00:02:05 Quick housekeeping: the new module is live in the classroom, and Thursday's call moves to Friday.
00:14:30 I posted three times this week but got almost no comments. Is my timing wrong?
00:15:10 Timing matters less than the question at the end of the post. Ask one people can answer in a word.
00:47:55 Before we wrap, post your one goal for the week in the thread so we can check in Friday.

FAQ

Skool recordings: the usual questions.

How long does an hour-long call take?

About 2 minutes, since an hour of audio processes in roughly 2. A 3-hour workshop call takes about 6.

What will a month of calls cost?

The first 20 minutes are free for a new visitor. Three 1-hour calls a week come to about 720 minutes a month, which sits on the $12 pack of 2,000 minutes; a lighter month of four calls, 240 minutes, fits the $6 pack of 500 minutes. Credits never expire.

Can I paste a link to a Skool lesson?

Paste the YouTube or Vimeo link of the video the lesson plays, not the link to the Skool page, which needs a login. Twitch and Kick VODs, Google Drive share links and podcast feeds also work as links.

Members share personal details on calls. Anything to watch?

Yes. Members talk about income, health and family on coaching calls; before you post a transcript in the group, remove what someone would not want written down, or post the chapters and takeaways only.

My call recording is bigger than 2 GB. Will it upload?

Once a pack is on the account, yes, up to 5 GB or 10 hours per file. Before the first pack, files up to 2 GB go through.

Which exports do I get, and is the call private?

TXT, DOCX, SRT, VTT and JSON are all available. Calls are transcribed on our own servers and never used to train a model, and you can delete a call and its transcript at any point.
