Transcribe long Sounder episodes from the feed you already publish.
A Sounder episode is transcribed from the show's public RSS feed or from the audio file you uploaded to Sounder, and a 75-minute episode is ready in about 2.5 minutes. The first 20 minutes are free, and a month of four weekly 75-minute episodes is 300 minutes, inside the $6 pack of 500 minutes.
Two ways in
Sounder already publishes your show. The feed is the shortest road to the text.
Paste the feed address
Every show hosted on Sounder has an RSS feed that podcast apps read, and the dashboard shows it among the distribution settings. Paste that address, choose the episode from the list, and we fetch the audio on our side. Nothing is downloaded to your laptop, and nothing in your Sounder account changes.
Or upload the master
If the episode still sits on your computer as the file you exported from your editor, upload it instead. Episodes usually leave an editor as MP3, WAV or M4A, and all of them go in as they are. Before your first pack the upload limit is 2 GB; afterwards each file may run to 10 hours or 5 GB.
A month and a back catalogue
Four weekly episodes of 75 minutes come to 300 minutes, so the $6 pack of 500 minutes carries a month with 200 to spare. A 100-episode archive at 50 minutes each is exactly 5,000 minutes, the size of the $24 pack. Credits never expire, so a pack bought today still covers next season.
What the episode page gets
Each transcript arrives with a short brief, chapters stamped to the minute, and the names, numbers and dates spoken on the show. Guests are named in the summary, key quotes and chapters, and the questions the episode answers can become its FAQ. Theme music and stingers are skipped; only the talk is written down.
Before and after

FAQ
Sounder episodes: what people ask.
How quickly does a 75-minute Sounder episode come back?
In roughly 2.5 minutes, since the pace is about 2 minutes for each hour of audio. A two-hour special takes about 4. Our public test at /proof/long-files shows a 9.31-hour file finished in 1,033 seconds.
Where do I find my Sounder RSS feed?
It is listed in your show's settings in the Sounder dashboard, usually near the distribution options; the exact menu can move between versions, so look for the word RSS. Any public podcast feed works, so the address you gave Apple or Spotify is the same one to paste here.
Does WhipScribe connect to my Sounder account?
No. There is no integration, no login and nothing to approve inside Sounder. We read the public feed you paste or the file you upload, after the episode is published or exported.
What does a season cost?
The first 20 minutes are free for a first-time visitor. A ten-episode season of 75 minutes is 750 minutes, which needs the $12 pack of 2,000 minutes and leaves 1,250 for the next season. One episode on its own sits easily inside the $6 pack.
Can it handle a show in Spanish or a bilingual one?
The spoken language is found automatically among 99. When hosts switch between two languages, the recording is detected on its main one and the switches are handled. Background music under the voices is not written out.
Which files come out, and what happens to the audio?
Download TXT, DOCX, SRT, VTT or JSON for each episode. The audio is processed on our own servers and is never used to train any model, and you can delete an episode whenever you like.
