Long-form webinars

Three hours of teaching and selling, and the best explanations are in the middle.

Get the replay file

Depending on how the webinar was set up, the replay recording can be downloaded from the WebinarJam panel, usually as an MP4. If the replay was streamed to YouTube, paste that link instead of downloading.

A three-hour replay in six minutes

Roughly 2 minutes per audio hour puts a 3-hour session in your hands in about 6 minutes. Drop it on upload page and the full text is ready before the replay email goes out.

The pack for a series

One 3-hour webinar is 180 minutes on the $6 pack. A series of five is 900 minutes, past 500, so the $12 pack of 2,000 is the right one, with 1,100 left.

Teaching, offer, questions

Chapters split the training from the offer and the live Q&A. The brief lists the takeaways, and quotes keep the host's exact wording for sales pages and emails.

Where long webinars stall

Nobody rewatches three hours to find one strong example.

✗ Three hours of replay video

The replay page converts some viewers; the content inside it is never reused.

  • Strong stories lost two hours in
  • Objections answered live but never written down
  • Sales page copy written from memory
  • Captions missing on a long replay
  • Tools capped at an hour or two per file
  • A monthly fee for an occasional transcript

✓ The whole session in text

A searchable record of the teaching, the offer and the questions.

  • Three hours of webinar as text in about 6 minutes
  • First 20 minutes free
  • $6 for 500 minutes or $12 for 2,000
  • Hosts named in the summary and quotes
  • Objections and answers collected
  • SRT and VTT for the replay room

02:21:05 Let us take questions. The first one: is the course self-paced, or are there live sessions too?
02:21:30 Both. The lessons are recorded, and there is a live call every second Thursday for questions.
02:22:10 Another one asks if they can join later in the year and still get the same lessons.
02:22:28 Yes, the lessons stay the same. The live calls are whatever the group brings that week.

FAQ

WebinarJam replays, answered.

How long does a 3-hour WebinarJam replay take?

Expect about 6 minutes: three audio hours at roughly 2 minutes each. A 90-minute replay takes about 3.

What does a 3-hour replay cost?

That replay counts as 180 minutes. The first 20 minutes are free for a first-time visitor, and the $6 pack of 500 minutes covers the rest, leaving at least 320. Five sessions of that length need the $12 pack of 2,000.

Does WhipScribe connect to WebinarJam?

No. There is no integration or bot. Download the replay recording and upload it, or paste a YouTube link if the session was streamed there.

My replay file is large. Will it upload?

A WebinarJam replay file can be up to 10 hours or 5 GB. Before the first pack, uploads up to 2 GB go through; a larger replay starts once a pack is on the account. A file longer than 10 hours is uploaded as two. At around 1.5 megabits a second, a 3-hour replay is 1.5 × 10,800 = 16,200 megabits, about 2 GB, right at that line.

Is the offer section transcribed too?

Everything spoken is transcribed, start to finish, and chapters mark where the training ends and the offer begins. Music beds and sound effects are not transcribed; the speech is.

What about languages, exports and privacy for a replay?

99 languages are detected automatically, so a webinar in Spanish or Portuguese needs no setting. Export the replay as TXT, DOCX, SRT, VTT or JSON. Recordings are transcribed on our own servers and are never used for training.
