Demio · event replay · about 2.5 min for 75

Transcribe a Demio webinar replay and reuse what the presenter said.

A Demio replay, downloaded from the event's page, uploads here as a file, and a 75-minute webinar comes back as text in about 2.5 minutes. The first 20 minutes are free, and six replays of that length come to 450 minutes, which fits the $6 pack of 500 with 50 left.

Replay to content

The webinar was the hard part. The follow-up content should be the easy part.

Find the recording

Demio keeps recordings with each event; download the replay from the event's page, usually as an MP4. If you only see a share link, check the event's recording settings for a download option. A 75-minute webinar at around 2 megabits a second is 2 × 4,500 = 9,000 megabits, roughly 1.1 GB, so it uploads before any pack.

Two and a half minutes

At about 2 minutes per hour of audio, 75 minutes take roughly 2.5. Upload it on upload page right after the session and the transcript is ready before the attendee list is exported.

Six replays, one $6 pack

Six 75-minute replays are 450 minutes, under the 500 in the $6 pack with 50 left. Twenty replays of the same length are 1,500 minutes, inside the $12 pack of 2,000.

Emails, posts and quotes

The brief states the thesis, the takeaways become follow-up email points, and key quotes name who said them. A chat over the transcript finds the exact line a prospect asked about.

Typical replay workflow

A replay sent to no-shows, and the content plan stops there.

✗ Replay link only

Registrants who missed it get a link; the presenter's examples stay locked in video.

  • Follow-up email written without the transcript
  • Blog post drafted from slides
  • No captions on the replay
  • Exact pricing questions from attendees forgotten
  • A recurring plan for occasional webinars
  • One more video nobody searches

✓ A replay you can quote

The whole presentation as text, ready for follow-up content.

  • About 2.5 minutes for 75
  • First 20 minutes free
  • $6 for 500 minutes, credits that stay
  • The presenter named in the summary and key quotes
  • The questions the webinar answered, listed
  • DOCX for drafts, VTT for the replay

00:27:40 Here is what changed for one team we worked with: they stopped sending one long newsletter and sent three short ones.
00:28:15 Open rates went up, but the bigger change was replies. People answered the short ones.
00:28:52 A question came in: did they change the subject lines too, or only the length?
00:29:10 Both. Shorter subject lines, and each one asked a single question.

FAQ

Demio replays, answered.

How long does a Demio replay take?

About 2 minutes per hour of audio, so a 75-minute replay takes about 2.5 minutes and a 2-hour one about 4. Upload past replays one after another and each one lands in your Library when it is done.

What does a Demio replay cost?

A 75-minute replay uses 75 minutes. A first-time visitor gets the first 20 minutes free, and the $6 pack of 500 minutes picks up the remaining 55. Six such replays are 450 minutes on one $6 pack.

Can I paste a Demio link?

No. Download the replay file and upload it. Links work for YouTube, Vimeo, Twitch, Kick, Google Drive and podcast feeds, so a replay re-published on YouTube or Vimeo can be pasted. WhipScribe has no Demio integration.

What about automated or evergreen sessions?

The source video for an automated event is a file you already have; upload that once rather than a replay of each run. One transcript covers every showing. If the evergreen script changes, upload the new version as its own file.

How big can a Demio replay file be?

Each replay file can be up to 10 hours or 5 GB. Before the first pack, files up to 2 GB upload; bigger ones start once a pack is on the account.

Which languages and exports does a Demio replay get?

The replay's language is picked up automatically from 99. Demio replays export as TXT, DOCX, SRT, VTT and JSON. Recordings are transcribed on our own servers and are never used for training.
