Transcribe a GoTo Webinar recording for everyone who missed it live.
A GoTo Webinar recording of 60 to 180 minutes is transcribed in about 2 to 6 minutes: download the recording from your GoTo account, usually as an MP4, and upload it here, up to 10 hours or 5 GB per file. A 3-hour webinar takes 180 minutes of the $6 pack's 500, after the first 20 minutes free. If the replay already sits on YouTube or Vimeo, paste that link instead.
From replay to text
The replay was made for people who missed the webinar. Most of them will read it sooner than watch it.
From the recordings list
GoTo Webinar keeps cloud recordings in the organiser's account, and the organiser can download them from there, usually as an MP4. Many teams also send registrants a share page for the recording. That page is a player for watching, not a file we can fetch, so download the recording and upload the file itself.
Or paste the public link
Plenty of webinars end up on a YouTube channel or a Vimeo showcase a week later. If yours did, paste that link and nothing needs downloading. A copy kept as a Google Drive share link works the same way, and so does a podcast feed if the webinar went out as an episode. Large MP4s continue on the upload page.
A season of webinars
Ten monthly webinars of 90 minutes come to 900 minutes, which belongs on the $12 pack of 2,000 minutes at $0.36 an audio hour. A single 2-hour panel uses 120 minutes of a $6 pack and leaves 380 for later sessions.
What the missed registrant reads
People who registered but never showed up rarely sit through a 90-minute replay. A brief with the thesis and takeaways, chapters with timestamps and the questions the webinar answered hands them the content in a few minutes of reading, and the Q&A is found by its chapter instead of by dragging a slider.
Why webinar replays go unwatched
Half the registrants missed it live. Few of them will sit through the replay.

FAQ
GoTo Webinar recordings, answered.
How long does a 90-minute webinar take?
About 3 minutes after the upload, since an hour of audio takes roughly 2. A 3-hour webinar with a long Q&A takes about 6. The 2.48-hour file on our proof page finished in 200 seconds.
What does a webinar programme cost?
One 90-minute webinar is 90 minutes on the $6 pack of 500 minutes, and five of them use 450. Twelve 2-hour webinars a year are 1,440 minutes and fit the $12 pack of 2,000. The opening 20 minutes are free on a first visit, and credits do not expire between webinars.
Can I paste the GoTo Webinar share link?
Not the GoTo share page, because it is a player on GoTo's site rather than a file. Download the recording and upload it, or paste a YouTube, Vimeo or Google Drive link if the replay is published there.
How large can the recording be, and what about very long events?
A webinar file can be up to 10 hours or 5 GB. A first-time account without a pack can upload up to 2 GB, and a bigger file begins after a pack is bought. A webinar day that ran longer than 10 hours is uploaded as two files, each transcribed in full.
What if the webinar is not in English?
The language is detected automatically across 99 languages, Portuguese, Spanish, Swedish and Hebrew among them. If a presenter switches language partway, the recording is detected on its main language and the switches are handled.
Which exports, and who can open the replay?
SRT and VTT for captions on the replay, DOCX for a recap, TXT and JSON for everything else. Your webinar is transcribed on our own servers and never goes into training data.
