Where the file is
Press Windows key plus G, open the Capture widget and choose See my captures, or open File Explorer and go to Videos, Captures. Each recording is an MP4 named after the app and the time it started.
Check the audio before a long call
Game Bar records the window you were in. Under Settings, Gaming, Captures you can choose whether the microphone goes into the recording and set the maximum recording length, so look at both before a call you cannot repeat.
A meeting turned into a brief
The brief gives the call's thesis and takeaways, the people who spoke are named in the summary, key quotes and chapters, and the figures and deadlines said aloud are listed with timestamps.

The MP4 can go straight onto the upload page, or into a Google Drive folder whose share link you paste here when a week of calls should be done together.

How quickly is a 2-hour capture transcribed?
In about 4 minutes. Processing takes roughly 2 minutes per hour of audio, and /proof/long-files shows a 4.94-hour file done in 372 seconds.
What do a few long calls cost?
The first 20 minutes are free for a first-time visitor, and a longer recording is previewed before a pack transcribes the rest. One 2-hour call is 120 minutes on the $6 pack of 500 minutes. Six of them make 720 minutes, which needs the $12 pack of 2,000 minutes and leaves 1,280.
How big does a Game Bar MP4 get?
It depends on the quality setting. At 6 Mbps an hour is 6 x 3,600 = 21,600 megabits, about 2.7 GB, so a 2-hour call lands near 5.4 GB. Files over 5 GB, or over 2 GB before your first pack, are best sent as audio: convert to MP3 first and an hour at 128 kbps is about 58 MB.
The recording stopped partway. What now?
Upload each MP4 as it is; there is no need to join them. A call longer than 10 hours also goes up as two files. Raising the maximum recording length in Game Bar's capture settings avoids the split next time. Each part keeps its own timestamps, counted from the start of that file.
Does it work for calls in other languages?
Yes. The language is detected from the audio among 99, and a call that moves between two languages is read on its main one with the switches handled.
What files do I get back, and who can hear the call?
The call downloads as TXT, DOCX, SRT, VTT and JSON. Recordings are transcribed on our own servers and are never used for training. Nothing joins the live call; WhipScribe works only on the file afterwards.
