Transcribe Zendesk Talk recordings and read the escalation instead.
To transcribe a Zendesk Talk call, save the recording attached to the ticket and upload it here; a 95-minute escalation call comes back as text in about 3 minutes. The first 20 minutes are free, and a weekly review of 15 calls at 30 minutes (450 minutes) fits the $6 pack of 500 minutes.
From the ticket to text
Zendesk Talk attaches the call to the ticket. The ticket still says only what the agent typed.
Save the call from the ticket
With recording turned on, a Zendesk Talk call usually lands on its ticket as a voice comment with a player. Depending on your role and account settings, the player offers a download; the file is commonly an MP3, though you should check what your account gives you. Admins can also find calls through the Talk call history.
Send it to WhipScribe
Upload the saved file above. Support audio is compact, so the 500 MB this box takes is plenty and the 2 GB allowed before a pack is far away. Gather several calls in a Google Drive folder and paste its share link to send them as one batch. Name each file with the ticket number before uploading, so a transcript is easy to match to its case later.
Sizing the pack
Fifteen calls of 30 minutes are 450 minutes: the $6 pack of 500. Four weeks of that are 1,800 minutes, which fits the $12 pack of 2,000. One 95-minute escalation uses the 20 free minutes and 75 from the $6 pack, leaving 425.
Back on the ticket
Paste the brief and the list of promised dates into an internal note, quote the customer word for word in the post-mortem, and ask the chat what workaround the agent suggested. Chapters show where the call turned.

FAQ
Zendesk Talk recordings, answered.
How long does a Zendesk Talk call take to transcribe?
About 2 minutes per hour of audio: a 95-minute call in roughly 3 minutes, an average support call in seconds. A whole week of reviewed calls, sent one after another, is usually finished before you have filled in the first scorecard.
Is there a Zendesk app for WhipScribe?
No. There is no Zendesk integration and no app in your instance. Save the recordings, upload them, and paste the text into the ticket yourself.
What does a month of reviewed calls cost?
1,800 minutes a month fits the $12 pack of 2,000 minutes; 450 minutes fits the $6 pack of 500. Packs are one-time payments in US dollars with no subscription.
Do callers have to agree to recording?
Callers must give the consent the law where you are requires for a recording. Zendesk Talk lines often play a greeting that says calls are recorded; keep it accurate.
What if the call is in Spanish or Portuguese?
The language is detected automatically among 99, so there is nothing to choose. Product names spoken in English inside the call are kept. A call that moves between two languages is transcribed on the main one.
How is the recording protected?
Recordings are transcribed on our own servers and are never used for training. Remove the call and its transcript from your account when the case closes.
