Transcribe a Mandarin church service with the sermon in Chinese characters by Sunday night.
A 100-minute Mandarin church service recorded in New Zealand is transcribed in about 3 to 4 minutes, with Mandarin detected automatically and any English interpretation from the pulpit kept in the same text. The first 20 minutes are free, and four Sunday services, 400 minutes, fit the $6 pack of 500 minutes.
For church media teams
The sermon is preached in Mandarin and interpreted into English. Both deserve a written copy.
Sermon notes for the week
The brief opens with the sermon's thesis and takeaways, ready to adapt for the cell-group study guide or the WeChat post that goes out on Monday.
Every passage, timed
Book, chapter and verse references read aloud are listed with timestamps, with the dates and names from the notices, so the bulletin team can check them in one place.
Interpreted services
When the pastor preaches in Mandarin and an interpreter repeats each part in English, the recording is detected on its main language and both voices come through as text, one after the other.
Captions for the replay
Download SRT or VTT to caption the service video. A camera file over 500 MB continues on the upload page, and a service streamed to YouTube needs only its link.
Why sermons fade
Members who miss a Sunday rarely sit through the full replay.
✗ Video only
The service goes up on YouTube, the pastor's outline stays on paper, and the cell groups paraphrase from memory.
- No Chinese text of the sermon
- Interpreted services that confuse one-language tools
- Volunteers transcribing by ear
- Scripture references buried in the video
- Replays without captions
- Older members who prefer to read
✓ Video and text
The service is Mandarin text with chapters before the lunch tables are folded away.
- About 3 to 4 minutes for 100 minutes
- Mandarin detected, English interpretation kept
- Preacher and interpreter named in the summary
- Scripture and notices listed
- SRT and VTT for the replay
- A chat to find last month's sermon point
Sample output
A Sunday sermon in Mandarin, closing in English.
Illustrative lines written for this page; no real church or pastor. English gloss: good morning, please open your Bibles to John chapter 15; I am the vine, you are the branches; today I want to share what it means to abide in the Lord; next Saturday's youth fellowship moves to the second floor; let us pray together.

FAQ
Mandarin church services, answered.
How long does a Mandarin service take?
About 2 minutes for each hour of audio. A 100-minute service is ready in roughly 3 to 4 minutes, and a 2-hour service with communion in about 4.
What does a quarter or a year of services cost?
Four 100-minute services, 400 minutes, fit the $6 pack of 500. A quarter of thirteen Sundays, 1,300 minutes, fits the $12 pack of 2,000. Forty-eight Sundays, 4,800 minutes, fit the $24 pack of 5,000. A church media team that records every week can also use the $19/month Workspace.
Are the hymns and worship songs in the text?
No. Singing with music is not transcribed; the speech is. Prayers, readings, the sermon and the notices come through, and the worship set leaves a gap between timestamps.
Do we need to tell it the service is in Mandarin?
No. Mandarin is detected automatically among 99 languages. English sentences in the service, including the interpreter's, are handled in the same transcript. On a Sunday when the guest speaker preaches in English and is interpreted into Mandarin, the main language may be English instead, and the Mandarin interpretation still comes through alongside it.
Our service video is large. Will it go through?
A single file may be up to 10 hours or 5 GB. Before the first pack, uploads can be up to 2 GB, so a long 1080p camera file may wait for a pack; pasting the YouTube link avoids the upload entirely. An audio-only export from the mixing desk is far smaller and usually the quickest route.
What about prayer requests read aloud?
Services are transcribed on our own servers and are never used for training, and only your account sees the text. The media team can download TXT, DOCX, SRT, VTT and JSON, and leave the prayer section out of anything published.
