Transcribe a Mandarin podcast straight from the feed.
A Mandarin podcast episode from Singapore, usually one to two hours long, is transcribed at about 2 minutes per hour of audio, so a 90-minute episode takes roughly 3 minutes. Paste the RSS feed or upload the file, start with the first 20 minutes free, and put twenty 90-minute episodes, 1,800 minutes, on the $12 pack of 2,000.
What a Mandarin show needs
Every episode as searchable Chinese text, with show notes started for you.
The feed is enough
Podcast and RSS links need no upload: paste the feed and choose the episode. A video version on YouTube can be pasted the same way, and a raw file from the recorder goes in through upload page.
Show notes from the chapters
Each episode returns with a brief of its main point and takeaways, chapters with timestamps, and the names, places and numbers the hosts mentioned. Most of the show notes are already written.
Fifty episodes, one pack
Twenty 90-minute episodes are 1,800 minutes on the $12 pack of 2,000. A catalogue of fifty such episodes is 4,500 minutes, inside the $24 pack of 5,000. Credits do not expire, so a new season can use what is left.
Intro music skipped
Theme music, stingers and background tracks are not transcribed; the conversation is. Timestamps still match the published episode, so a caption file lines up with the video cut.
Why Mandarin episodes stay unsearchable
A great episode nobody can find in search is a missed listener.
✗ Audio only
Episodes go out with a short description and no text, so search engines and listeners see almost nothing. A Mandarin show also loses listeners who would rather read, or who want to find the one story a friend mentioned. Writing a transcript by hand takes longer than recording the episode.
- Episode notes reconstructed after the fact
- No quotations to post between episodes
- Tools that assume English audio
- Downloading every file by hand
- Hour-long upload caps
- Monthly billing for a show that airs weekly
✓ Episodes in text
The full conversation in Chinese characters, with chapters and the names worth linking. The transcript can sit on the episode page, so search engines and AI assistants can read what the episode covers. Clips for social posts start from a quotation you can find in seconds rather than by scrubbing.
- Roughly 3 minutes for each 90-minute episode
- RSS feed pasted, no download
- Each host and guest named in the summary and quotes
- Key quotes ready for social posts
- Chapters for the episode page
- SRT and VTT to caption the video upload

FAQ
Mandarin podcast transcription, answered.
How fast is a 90-minute episode transcribed?
Roughly 3 minutes. A 2-hour episode takes about 4, at around 2 minutes per hour of audio.
What does a season cost?
A season of twelve 90-minute episodes is 1,080 minutes on the $12 pack of 2,000, with 920 left. One episode alone is 90 minutes of the $6 pack of 500. New visitors transcribe 20 minutes free; for a longer episode a pack finishes the rest from where the preview ended. A pack is one-time and the minutes stay on the account, so a show that publishes twice a month spends them as it goes.
Will the RSS feed work on its own?
Yes. Podcast and RSS links, YouTube, Vimeo and Google Drive links are fetched directly, so nothing has to upload from your machine.
Is there a size limit for the raw recording?
A single file may be 10 hours long or 5 GB in size. Before the first pack, uploads are capped at 2 GB, and a larger file starts once a pack is on the account. An uncompressed multitrack export can be converted to MP3 first if the upload refuses it.
What about guests who switch into English?
The episode is detected on its main language, Mandarin, and switches into English are handled in the same transcript. Give any line you plan to quote in public a quick listen first.
What exports are there, and is the audio private?
Episodes export to TXT, DOCX, SRT, VTT and JSON. Every episode is transcribed on our own servers and are never used for training.
