Transcribe parliamentary sessions from Knesset committees to all-day sittings.
A Knesset committee meeting or a multi-hour legislative sitting transcribes at about 2 minutes per hour, so an eight-hour sitting is text in around 16 minutes, and Hebrew is detected automatically. Paste the stream link if the sitting was published online; the first 20 minutes are free and a $6 pack of 500 minutes covers the whole eight hours.
For people who follow the committees
Committee meetings run for hours. The quote you need takes ten seconds.
Start from the link
If the session was published on YouTube, including a live replay, or on Vimeo, paste the address and the audio is fetched for you. A recording you saved as a file uploads the same way any other file does.
Long sittings, the rules
A YouTube live replay over 6 hours starts once a pack is on the account. A single sitting longer than 10 hours is transcribed as two parts, since one file holds up to 10 hours or 5 GB.
Who spoke, and on what
Chairs, members and invited witnesses are named in the summary, key quotes and chapters wherever the recording makes it clear who is speaking. Chapters follow the agenda, so a single bill or witness can be read on its own.
Following a whole session
A researcher tracking one committee through a session might collect 40 meetings of two hours each. That is 4,800 minutes, which fits the $24 pack of 5,000 minutes at about $0.29 per hour.
Why legislative recordings are hard to follow
The stream is public. Reading it is another matter.
✗ Watching the stream
Journalists, researchers and staff end up scrubbing long videos for a remark they half-heard.
- Hours of video for one exchange
- Several committees meeting at once
- Official records that arrive later
- No search across a month of sittings
- Notes taken while trying to listen
- Quotes paraphrased because the exact words were lost
✓ Reading the session
Every sitting as text with timestamps, so a quote can be checked and cited with its moment.
- Links pasted rather than files downloaded
- About 2 minutes of processing per hour
- Hebrew detected, no setting to change
- Chapters at each agenda item
- Chat that finds what a member said about a topic
- SRT and VTT to caption a clip you are allowed to share

FAQ
Legislative sessions from Israel: what to expect.
How long does an eight-hour sitting take?
Roughly 16 minutes, at about 2 minutes per audio hour. A two-hour committee meeting takes about 4.
What does it cost to follow a committee?
One eight-hour sitting is 480 minutes and fits the $6 pack of 500 minutes. Twenty meetings of two hours each come to 2,400 minutes, so the $24 pack of 5,000 minutes is the right one there, or the $12 pack of 2,000 minutes for up to 16 such meetings. Each pack is a one-time purchase in US dollars.
What if the session runs longer than 10 hours?
One file holds up to 10 hours or 5 GB, so a sitting that ran through the night is transcribed in two parts. If you upload files yourself, files up to 2 GB go up before the first pack.
Is Hebrew supported?
Yes, Hebrew is detected automatically as one of 99 languages. Where a speaker addresses the committee in a different language, the transcript stays on the session's main language, so check those passages against the audio.
Which links can I paste?
YouTube, including live replays, Vimeo, Google Drive share links and folders, Twitch and Kick videos, and podcast feeds. A recording held on Facebook needs to be downloaded and uploaded as a file.
What do I export, and who sees it?
You can export the session as TXT, DOCX, SRT, VTT or JSON. Recordings are transcribed on our own servers and are never used for training, and the text is yours to quote with its timestamps.
