A 2.5-hour review lecture for the Physician Licensure Examination (PLE) is transcribed in about 5 minutes, with chapters per subject and the terms, values and drug names said aloud listed by timestamp. The first 20 minutes are free, and the $6 pack of 500 minutes covers three lectures of that length.

For PLE reviewees

Medical review is volume: many subjects, many lectures, little time. Text you can search beats video you have to rewatch.

The brief you reread before a mock exam

It sets out what the lecture argued and the takeaways the lecturer kept returning to. Across a month of lectures, the briefs become your outline.

Values and names, gathered

Normal values, drug names, eponyms and the numbers used in a case discussion are listed with timestamps. Replay the sentence before you commit a figure to memory.

Subjects as chapters

A lecture that moves through physiology, then pharmacology, then a case discussion gets a chapter per shift, titled and timed, so you jump straight to the part you need.

Your recordings, queued together

Paste the Google Drive folder where your lecture recordings sit and each one is transcribed in turn. One large file can go through the upload page instead.

Why rewatching does not scale

Dozens of lectures a season means no single one can be watched twice.

✗ Reviewing from the video

PLE review covers a lot of ground, and lecturers move quickly through values and drug names. A note that misses one digit is worse than no note, and the video only helps if you know which minute to open. Reviewing across subjects makes it harder still, because the same drug can come up in three lectures weeks apart.

  • Values noted down with a digit missing
  • Drug names spelled from memory
  • No search across a month of lectures
  • Tagalog clarifications English tools drop
  • Lectures recorded in pieces by a phone
  • A backlog that grows faster than you watch

✓ Each lecture, searchable

Every lecture becomes text organised by subject, ready to fold into the notes you already keep. Search a drug name and you land on each minute it came up.

  • A brief per lecture
  • Values and drug names with timestamps
  • Chapters per subject
  • Questions the lecture answers, for active recall
  • Three 2.5-hour lectures per $6 pack
  • DOCX for your own reviewer

FAQ

PLE review lectures, answered.

How quickly does a 2.5-hour lecture come back?

In about 5 minutes. Processing takes close to 2 minutes per hour of audio, so a 6-hour Saturday lecture is done in about 12.

What do a month's lectures cost?

A 2.5-hour lecture is 150 minutes, so three fit the $6 pack of 500 minutes. Twelve lectures in a review month, 1,800 minutes, fit the $12 pack of 2,000 minutes. Thirty lectures of that length across a season, 4,500 minutes, sit on the $24 pack of 5,000 minutes.

How large can the lecture file be?

Up to 10 hours or 5 GB in one file, whichever comes first. Before the first pack you can upload files up to 2 GB; a larger lecture video starts as soon as a pack is on the account. Lectures already on YouTube or Google Drive go in by link, as long as they are ones your review program lets you keep.

Can I use the transcript in patient care?

No. This is for lectures, review and training only. It is not a medical device, and nothing in the transcript should guide the care of a patient.

Does it understand Tagalog mixed with medical English?

Medical English, Tagalog and Filipino are detected without any setting, and a lecture that moves between English and Tagalog is handled in one pass. Regional languages such as Cebuano and Hiligaynon are supported, with lower accuracy: expect a fast first draft there and plan one review pass.

What exports are there, and is the lecture private?

A PLE lecture exports to TXT, DOCX, SRT, VTT and JSON. On privacy, since review recordings are often shared across a batch: recordings are transcribed on our own servers and are never used for training.
