Transcribe consejo escolar meetings recorded in Spain.
To transcribe a consejo escolar meeting recorded in Spain, upload the recording below: a 3-hour meeting in Spanish or Catalan is back in about 6 minutes, with each agenda point as a chapter. Eight meetings of 2.5 hours in a school year are 1,200 minutes on the $12 pack of 2,000, and the first 20 minutes are free.
For secretaries, directors and family representatives
The whole consejo escolar, point by point, so the acta reflects what was agreed.
The agenda as chapters
Chapters open as the meeting reaches each point: the budget, the calendar, the school canteen, the coexistence plan. The secretary drafts from the chapter, not from scribbled margins.
Every voice in the room
Teachers, families, students and the management team are named in the summary and the key quotes when they speak. A family representative can show exactly what was raised on behalf of parents.
A school year on one pack
If the consejo meets eight times and each meeting runs 2.5 hours, the year is 1,200 minutes on the $12 pack of 2,000. One 3-hour meeting alone is 180 minutes on the $6 pack of 500.
In person or on a call
A phone on the table records the room; a meeting held on a video call is downloaded from that platform. Both upload through upload page as one file per meeting.
Why school meetings get disputed
Families remember one thing, the minutes say another.

Long evenings, many voices, and a secretary trying to write and listen at once.
- Agreements paraphrased loosely

- Recording never re-heard
- Draft weeks after the meeting
- No way to check a dispute
✓ A meeting you can check
A transcript and brief for the secretary and the council.
- A 3-hour meeting in about 6 min
- Spanish and Catalan detected
- Each agenda point a chapter
- Members named in summary
- Questions raised, listed
- Timestamps to settle doubts

FAQ
Consejo escolar meetings: frequent questions.
How long does a 3-hour consejo escolar take to transcribe?
About 6 minutes. Transcription runs at roughly 2 minutes per hour of audio, so a 2-hour meeting takes around 4. The secretary can have the transcript open before leaving the building.
What does a school year of meetings cost?
Eight meetings of 2.5 hours are 1,200 minutes on the $12 pack of 2,000. A single 3-hour meeting, 180 minutes, fits the $6 pack of 500. Every price is in USD. Credits never expire and there is no subscription, so a quiet year leaves minutes for the next one.
Does the transcript replace the acta?
No. The acta is still drafted, read and approved by the council as usual. The transcript is a working text with timestamps that makes drafting faster and lets anyone check a point. If a meeting was held on a video call, its download is usually an MP4, and it uploads the same way.
How large is the recording, and can it be split?
A 3-hour voice memo at 64 kbps is 86.4 MB (8,000 bytes a second times 10,800 seconds). Each file can be up to 10 hours or 5 GB, and before the first pack up to 2 GB, so a meeting never needs splitting. Members can still ask for a point to be corrected, and the timestamp shows what was actually said.
Our council speaks Catalan. Is that supported?
Yes. Catalan, like Spanish, is one of the 99 languages detected automatically. A meeting is detected on its main language, and switches into the other language are handled. Families who speak another language at the meeting are transcribed as spoken, with the meeting detected on its main language.
What exports are there, and who sees the meeting?
DOCX for the draft acta, TXT, SRT, VTT and JSON. Recordings are transcribed on our own servers and are never used for training, which matters when families and staff discuss pupils. The director or secretary decides who receives an export; nothing is shared from the account.
