Transcribe a Spanish podcast from the feed, episode by episode.
A 2-hour Spanish-language podcast episode is transcribed in about 4 minutes, and you can paste the RSS feed or episode link instead of downloading the audio. The first 20 minutes are free, and four 90-minute episodes, 360 minutes, fit the $6 pack of 500.
From episode to show notes
Publish the episode, then have chapters and quotes before the post goes out.
No download step
Spanish-language shows recorded in the US usually live on an RSS feed and often on YouTube too. Paste either link and the episode is fetched for you. A local MP3 or WAV from the edit also works through the box above.
Chapters that become show notes
The chapters mark each segment with a time, from the cold open to the listener questions, and the brief gives the episode's argument in a few lines. Those two pieces are most of a show-notes post.
Quotes worth posting
Key quotes come back with the host or guest named, so a clip caption or a newsletter pull quote does not mean scrubbing for the line. Intro music and stingers are skipped; the conversation is what gets written down.
Back catalogue arithmetic
Forty episodes of 2 hours are 4,800 minutes, which fits the $24 pack of 5,000 minutes at $0.29 an audio hour. A month of weekly 2-hour shows, 480 minutes, still fits the $6 pack.
Why Spanish podcasts end up without transcripts
Most tools assume English, and most long episodes break the free tiers.
✗ The usual workarounds
Hosts skip transcripts or paste auto-captions that guessed the wrong language.
- Captions that start in English
- Files cut to fit an upload cap
- An hour of audio per hour of show notes
- Guest names misspelled throughout
- Quotes found by scrubbing
- Older episodes never done
✓ Episodes in Spanish, as text
Each episode returns in Spanish with structure for publishing.
- About 4 minutes per 2-hour episode
- Chapters with timestamps
- Hosts and guests named in the quotes
- Names and figures said, listed
- SRT for the video upload
- The whole catalogue on one pack

FAQ
Spanish podcast transcription, answered.
How long does a 2-hour episode take?
About 4 minutes. A 3-hour episode takes about 6, and a 60-minute one about 2. The public timings at /proof/long-files include a 2.48-hour file finished in 200 seconds.
What do 3 hours of episodes cost, and on which pack?
Three hours is 180 minutes, which fits the $6 pack of 500 with 320 minutes left. A season of twelve 2-hour episodes, 1,440 minutes, goes on the $12 pack. A catalogue of 40 or more episodes belongs on the $24 pack of 5,000 minutes.
My WAV master is huge. Should I convert it?
A single file can be up to 5 GB once a pack is on the account, and 2 GB before. Stereo 16-bit WAV at 44.1 kHz runs about 635 MB per hour (1,411 kbps × 3,600 seconds), so a 3-hour master is about 1.9 GB. The published MP3 or the feed link is smaller and works just as well.
Should a 3-hour episode be split in two?
No. Files up to 10 hours go in whole, so the chapters and the timestamps match the published episode.
Does it understand Spanish from different countries?
Spanish is detected automatically among 99 languages, whatever the host's accent. When a guest answers in English for a stretch, the episode is detected on its main language and the switch is handled.
Which formats come out, and what happens to the audio?
TXT and DOCX for show notes, SRT and VTT for video, JSON for a website. Recordings are transcribed on our own servers and are never used for training, unreleased episodes included.
