Transcribe a full training day in one file.
A training day recorded in South Africa, six to eight hours in a single file, comes back as text in about 12 to 16 minutes with chapters that follow the modules. The first 20 minutes are free, and an eight-hour day is 480 minutes, which fits on the $6 pack of 500.
For trainers and learning teams
A full day of teaching, split by module, ready as handouts the next morning.
Keep the day in one file
Leave the recording running from registration to the closing round. A single file can hold up to 10 hours, so the day keeps one timeline and nothing falls between parts. Large camera files go through upload page.
Chapters by module
The text is divided into chapters with timestamps that follow the modules and breakout feedback. A learner who missed the afternoon can read module four on its own.
Handouts from the brief
The brief sums up each day's main points, and the questions the training answers become a short review sheet. Export as DOCX and edit it into the course pack.
Ask what the trainer said
The chat over the text answers questions such as what the trainer said about the assessment, and points to the minute. It saves a learner rewatching eight hours for one answer.
Why training recordings go unused
Nobody rewatches an eight-hour day to find one explanation.
✗ The recording on a shared drive
Full-day recordings are kept for compliance and rarely opened again.
- Eight hours of video per day
- Files cut into parts to upload
- Tools that stop at one or two hours
- No way to find one module
- Handouts written from scratch
- Late-joiners left without notes
✓ A text of the whole day
The day becomes a document learners can search and trainers can reuse.
- Roughly 16 minutes for 8 hours of teaching
- One file up to 10 hours
- Chapters per module
- Trainers named in the summary and quotes
- DOCX handouts, SRT captions
- A day on the $6 pack

FAQ
Training day recordings, answered.
How long does an eight-hour training day take to transcribe?
About 16 minutes, at roughly 2 minutes per hour of audio, and a six-hour day about 12. On our public long-file test, 9.31 hours of audio took 1,033 seconds.
What does a training programme cost?
One eight-hour day is 480 minutes and fits the $6 pack of 500. A three-day course of seven hours a day is 1,260 minutes, on the $12 pack of 2,000. A programme of fifteen full days goes on the $24 pack of 5,000 minutes. Prices are in US dollars.
Can I upload the whole day without splitting it?
Yes. One file holds up to 10 hours or 5 GB, which covers a full training day. Only a recording longer than 10 hours needs to go in as two files.
The camera file is larger than 2 GB. What then?
Until the first pack, the upload ceiling is 2 GB, and anything bigger starts as soon as a pack is on the account. Exporting the audio track alone shrinks an eight-hour video to a small fraction of its size.
Which languages does it pick up?
Training delivered in English, Afrikaans or Zulu is detected automatically, one of 99 languages. A day that switches language between sessions is detected on its main language, so plan a read-through of any section given mostly in a second language.
Which formats come out, and what happens to the recording?
Exports cover TXT and DOCX for handouts, SRT and VTT for the video, and JSON. Training recordings are transcribed on our own servers and never used for training any model, and you can delete them when the course ends.
