Transcribe university lecture recordings in South Korea the whole class, in Korean.
A three-hour university lecture recorded in Korean is transcribed in about 6 minutes, and the language is detected without a setting. The first 20 minutes are free; a $6 pack of 500 minutes covers the rest of that lecture, and a full semester of weekly three-hour classes fits on one $24 pack.
A lecture, then a whole term
Three hours at the front of a lecture hall become notes you can search before the exam.
Korean, found on its own
Korean is one of 99 languages detected automatically. Lectures in Korean that use English for technical terms, formulas or paper titles are transcribed on the main language, so expect the English terms to need a glance where the professor speaks quickly.
Chapters that track the syllabus
A long lecture covers several topics in a row. The transcript comes back with chapters and timestamps, so the twenty minutes on one theorem or one case can be found again without scrubbing through the whole video.
The term, worked out
Fifteen weeks of one three-hour class is 45 hours, or 2,700 minutes. That fits the $24 pack of 5,000 minutes, leaving 2,300 minutes for a second course, at about $0.29 per audio hour.
Hagwon and lecture videos
The same works for academy classes and recorded online lectures. Upload the file from the upload page, or paste a YouTube link if the class was posted there, and the text arrives without anyone typing it up.
Why lecture recordings sit unread
A recorded lecture is only useful if you can find the part you missed.
✗ Video files and handwritten notes
Most students keep the recording and never open it again, because finding one explanation means watching the whole class twice.
- Scrubbing a three-hour video for one example
- Notes that stop when the pace picks up
- Caption tools that cap the length of a file
- A subscription for one semester of classes
- No way to search a whole term at once
- Questions from the class lost in the noise
✓ A lecture you can search
Each class becomes text with chapters, so revision starts from a list of topics instead of a timeline.
- About 6 minutes for a three-hour class
- Korean detected without a setting
- Chapters with timestamps for each topic covered
- Questions the lecture answers, listed
- A chat that answers from the transcript
- A semester on one $24 pack

FAQ
University lectures in Korean, answered.
How long does a three-hour lecture take to transcribe?
About 6 minutes. Speed is roughly 2 minutes per hour of audio, so a two-hour seminar takes around 4. You can leave the page while it runs; the transcript stays in your Library.
What does a semester of recorded lectures cost?
One three-hour class is 180 minutes and fits the $6 pack of 500 minutes. A semester of fifteen such classes is 2,700 minutes, which needs the $24 pack of 5,000 minutes. Prices are in US dollars, the packs are one-time purchases, and unused minutes carry into the next term.
My lecture video is large. Will it upload?
Before your first pack, files up to 2 GB upload; after it, one file can be up to 5 GB or 10 hours. A three-hour lecture saved as audio is far below both. A long screen recording in high resolution can pass 2 GB, and that file starts once a pack is on the account.
Should I split a long class into parts?
No. A single lecture, even with a break in the middle, goes up as one file and comes back with one set of timestamps. Only a recording longer than 10 hours needs to be uploaded as two files.
Does it work for Korean mixed with English terms?
Yes. Korean is detected automatically and the lecture is transcribed on that main language. English words inside Korean speech are handled, though a term spoken fast is worth checking against the audio before it goes into an assignment.
Which formats come back, and is my recording private?
TXT and DOCX for notes, SRT and VTT for captions on the lecture video, and JSON for anything else. Lecture recordings are transcribed on our own servers and are never used for training.
