Transcribe a whole semester of lecture recordings at once.
To transcribe a semester of lecture recordings, paste the Google Drive folder that holds them and every file is queued from that one link. Thirty lectures of 100 minutes come to 3,000 minutes, which one $24 pack of 5,000 minutes covers with 2,000 minutes to spare.
One term, one queue
Thirty recordings should not mean thirty separate chores.
Paste the folder, not the files
If the lectures sit in a Google Drive folder, share it and paste the folder link. Each recording inside is picked up and transcribed in turn. Single files can still go in by upload, and a recording above 500 MB continues on the upload page.
The arithmetic for a term
A $24 pack holds 5,000 minutes, about 83 hours of audio. Thirty lectures of 100 minutes use 3,000 of them. The 2,000 left over carry into next term, because credits never expire.
Search across every week
All of the transcripts land in one Library you can search. When a topic from week three comes back in week eleven, you find both places instead of guessing which recording it was in.
A brief per lecture
Each lecture comes back with a brief, chapters with timestamps, and the questions the lecture answers. Thirty of those make a revision guide you did not have to write.
A term's worth of audio
The semester backlog is a volume problem, not a single-file one.
✗ Working through it one at a time
A term of recordings is usually where good intentions stop. Each file is a separate job, and the cost adds up per lecture.
- Download each lecture from the course site in turn
- Upload them one by one and wait on each
- Rename thirty outputs so they sort by week
- Pay per file or per month for a term's backlog
- Lose track of which week a topic was taught
- Start again from nothing the next semester
✓ The same term here
One link brings the folder in. One pack pays for it, and what is left over stays on the account.
- A shared Drive folder pasted once
- Each lecture transcribed on its own timeline
- One Library for the whole term, searchable
- Chapters and a brief for every week
- A single $24 pack for 3,000 minutes of class
- Unused minutes kept for the next term

FAQ
Semester lecture transcription, answered.
How long does a full semester take to process?
Each hour of audio takes about 2 minutes. Thirty lectures of 100 minutes are 50 hours, so the whole term is roughly 100 minutes of processing once the files are in.
What does a semester of lectures cost?
Thirty lectures of 100 minutes come to 3,000 minutes. That is one $24 pack of 5,000 minutes, leaving 2,000 minutes on the account. A lighter term of 1,500 minutes would fit the $12 pack of 2,000 minutes instead.
How large can each lecture file be?
Up to 10 hours or 5 GB each, whichever comes first. Before the first pack, uploads go up to 2 GB; with a pack on the account, larger files start too. Lectures read from a Drive link do not upload from your computer at all.
Do I need to split or merge any recordings?
No. Each lecture stays its own transcript with its own timeline, so week four never runs into week five. Only a single recording longer than 10 hours needs to go in as two files.
Our lectures are not in English. Can I still use it?
Yes. The language of each recording is detected automatically, with 99 languages supported, so a term taught in Spanish or Hindi works the same way.
What can I export, and is it private?
Every lecture exports as TXT, DOCX, SRT, VTT and JSON. JSON suits a course search tool and SRT adds captions to the videos. Recordings are transcribed on our own servers and are never used for training.
