Transcribe youth camp talks session by session, for the follow-up after camp.
Each youth camp talk of 60 to 90 minutes comes back as text in about 2 to 3 minutes, and a 3-day camp of 12 talks at 75 minutes, 900 minutes in all, fits the $12 pack of 2,000 minutes. The first 20 minutes are free, enough to check one talk was recorded clearly.
For camp organisers and youth ministers
Campers remember one line from each talk. The text gives them the rest of it.
Key quotes for the recap
The lines that landed come out as key quotes with timestamps, ready for the recap post, the slideshow on the last night or the follow-up booklet.
Every session from one folder
Collect the recordings in a Google Drive folder and paste the folder link: each file becomes its own transcript, named as it was saved.
Chapters inside each talk
A camp session moves from a game to the talk to small-group sharing. Chapters mark those parts so the talk itself is easy to find.
Ask across the transcript
Use the chat to find where the speaker told the story about the scholarship, or what the three challenges for the week were. The answer comes with a timestamp, so a leader can play that part at the reunion.
Why camp talks fade
A camp produces a dozen recordings in three days, and by the next month nobody knows which file holds which talk.
✗ After most camps
Volunteers record every session on whatever phone is charged, then the files sit in a folder until the next camp. Small-group leaders back home are asked to follow up on talks they never heard.
- Files named by phone, not by session
- No text for campers who missed a talk
- Follow-up groups starting from memory
- Taglish talks no one will type out
- Recaps built from a few photos
- Long sessions that phones cut into parts
✓ The same camp here
Each session becomes text with its own brief, quotes and chapters.
- Every talk gets its own brief
- Talk highlights with their minute marks
- Chapters for talk, game and sharing
- Questions the talk answered
- 12 talks of 75 minutes on the $12 pack
- Talks ready to edit into a camp booklet

FAQ
Youth camp recordings, answered.
How long does each talk take to transcribe?
A 75-minute talk takes about 2 to 3 minutes, at roughly 2 minutes per hour of audio. A full folder of sessions is processed file by file.
What does a whole camp cost?
Twelve talks of 75 minutes come to 900 minutes, so a 3-day camp fits the $12 pack of 2,000 minutes with room for the next camp. A short weekend retreat of five 75-minute sessions, 375 minutes, fits the $6 pack of 500 minutes. Prices are in USD, and credits do not expire.
Should we record the whole day as one file?
One file per session is easier to share and to name. If someone did record a day straight through, a file can be up to 10 hours or 5 GB, whichever comes first; before the first pack, uploads go up to 2 GB.
Will the worship sets and games fill the transcript?
Songs and music are not transcribed, and crowd noise is left out; the talks and the spoken parts of the games are. Chapters show where the talk begins.
Some talks were in Bisaya. Can those be done?
Taglish and Filipino are detected without settings, and English sessions come back cleanly. Bisaya and the other regional languages are supported, but expect a fast first draft for those talks and give each one review pass.
What files come back, and are campers' stories private?
Each talk exports to TXT, DOCX, SRT, VTT and JSON. Talks are transcribed on our own servers and never used for training. Small-group sharing by minors is personal, so many organisers record only the main talks.
