What trips people up, and what to do about it.

Record a bus, not just armed inputs, when you want both sides of a call. Bus recording captures what you hear on that bus, including the remote voices.
Multitrack makes several files. Upload the track with the mix, or each person's track if you want them as separate transcripts.
Long WAV recordings can hit the 2 GB WAV size limit; VB-Audio suggests BWF for longer sessions. MP3 avoids the problem and is a fraction of the size.
Pausing keeps one file. Pressing REC to pause and resume writes every segment into the same recording.

Example. A tutor records a 90-minute online lesson on a Voicemeeter bus as MP3, about 85 MB. The transcript is back in about three minutes, and the summary becomes the lesson notes sent to the student.
