A plan wins when volume is steady enough to consume the hours. Below that line their hourly rate is the cheaper option.
Where the break-even sits
At two hours you sit under Core's 5-hour allowance, so the plan bills $25 for hours that go unused. Pay-as-you-go at $10 an hour is $20 for identical work, which is why their cheapest plan is not their cheapest option at low volume.
Here those 120 minutes cost about 96 cents of an $8 pack of 1,000, and the remaining minutes are still there next month.
At high steady volume the arithmetic flips toward their plans, where storage and collaboration may matter more than the rate.
