For one long conversation

Two hours of talk, with the parts worth quoting already found.

Speakers named where it counts

Speakers are identified and named in the summary, key quotes and chapters. You see which answer came from the guest and which from you, and the timestamp lets you check against the audio.

Quotes with their minute

Key quotes come out with the timestamp they sit at. Pulling a line for an article, a report or a case study starts from that list rather than from a full replay.

About four minutes

Two hours of audio at roughly 2 minutes per hour comes back in about four minutes. The recording can be audio or video, and a file above 500 MB continues on the upload page.

Within one $6 pack

Your first 20 minutes are free. The remaining 100 minutes use part of a $6 pack of 500 minutes, one-time, with no subscription required and no expiry on what is left.

Why two hours changes things

A two-hour interview is too long to skim and too short to outsource.

✗ Handling it by ear

A two-hour conversation holds a few lines you need and a lot you do not. Finding them by listening is slow, and every pass through the audio costs another two hours.

  • Listen through twice to find the three quotes you need
  • Type out each quote and guess at the timestamp
  • Wait days for a typed transcript from a service
  • Get a plain wall of text with no structure
  • Mix up who said a line when you go back to it
  • Split the file because a tool stops at an hour

✓ The same interview here

The whole conversation, on one timeline, with the useful parts already marked.

  • One upload for the full two hours
  • A brief with the main points
  • Key quotes with the speaker named and the minute
  • Chapters where the topic changes
  • Names, numbers and dates mentioned, pulled out
  • A DOCX you can edit straight away

00:05:12 Thanks for making the time. I'd like to start with how you got into this work, and then we can get to the decision in 2019.
00:48:30 We had three options on the table, and honestly the one we chose was the least popular in the room.
01:23:40 If I am candid, the mistake was not the decision. It was waiting six months to tell the team why we made it.
01:57:05 Is there anything you'd want to correct or add before we stop recording?

FAQ

2-hour interview transcription, answered.

How fast is a 2-hour interview transcribed?

About four minutes, at around 2 minutes per hour of audio. Upload time on a slow connection is extra; a linked file skips it.

What does a 2-hour interview cost?

It is 120 minutes. The first 20 are free for a first-time visitor and the $6 pack of 500 minutes covers the rest, leaving most of the pack for later interviews.

How big can the recording be?

The ceiling is 5 GB for one file. Before your first pack, uploads are accepted up to 2 GB, and a bigger file starts once a pack is on the account. Most two-hour audio files are far smaller than that.

Will I have to cut it into one-hour pieces?

No. A file up to 10 hours goes in whole, so two hours is well inside the limit. Keeping it as one file also means a quote from the last ten minutes carries its real timestamp, not one counted from the start of a second piece.

The interview was in French. Will it work?

Yes. French is one of 99 languages detected automatically, with nothing to select first.

Which formats can I download, and is the interview kept private?

You can download TXT, DOCX, SRT, VTT or JSON. Speaker names appear in the summary, key quotes and chapters rather than in the downloaded files. Recordings are transcribed on our own servers and are never used for training.
