For council secretariats and reporters

A regular session moves through a dozen items in an afternoon. The text keeps each one where you can find it.

A brief of what the body decided

The summary opens with what the session settled and the takeaways for each item, so a staff member drafting the minutes starts from an outline instead of a blank page.

Ordinance numbers and amounts, pulled out

Every number, peso amount, date and name said on the floor is listed with the minute it was spoken, including the title of each measure read on first reading.

Chapters that mirror the agenda

Roll call, reading of the previous minutes, committee reports, unfinished business, new business. Chapters mark each turn of the agenda with a title and a time.

Weeks of sessions together

Paste a Google Drive folder with a month of session videos, or send one long recording through the upload page.

Why council minutes run late

Writing minutes from a six-hour video takes days the secretariat does not have.

✗ Drafting from the session video

Council sessions run long, speakers interrupt each other, and the motion that matters can come up in the fifth hour after a recess.

  • Handwritten notes that miss who moved and who seconded
  • Scrubbing for a vote that happened after the recess
  • No way to search the livestream for a measure's title
  • Taglish debate that English-only tools break apart
  • Phone recordings that stop at a file size limit
  • Typing services that quote by the audio minute

✓ The same session here

The whole session returns as text with the structure of the agenda already drawn out of it.

  • A brief of what was approved, deferred or referred
  • Measure titles, amounts and dates with timestamps
  • Chapters per agenda item
  • Councilors who spoke, named in the summary and key quotes
  • A 6-hour session inside the $6 pack
  • DOCX to edit into the draft minutes

FAQ

Council session recordings, answered.

How quickly does a 6-hour session come back?

In about 12 minutes. Processing runs at roughly 2 minutes per hour of audio, so a 3-hour committee hearing is ready in about 6.

What does a month of regular sessions cost?

A single 6-hour session uses 360 minutes, which the $6 pack of 500 minutes covers. Four weekly sessions of 4 hours add up to 960 minutes and fit the $12 pack of 2,000 minutes. A full quarter of thirteen 4-hour sessions is 3,120 minutes and belongs on the $24 pack of 5,000 minutes.

The session video is huge. Will it upload?

A session video can run up to 10 hours or 5 GB as one file, whichever limit it reaches first. Until the first pack is bought, uploads top out at 2 GB, and a larger session video begins processing once a pack is on the account. If the session was streamed to YouTube, paste the link and skip the upload. A replay that only lives on a Facebook page has to be downloaded first and then uploaded.

Do I need to split a session at the recess?

No, if the whole day fits in one file of 10 hours or less. A session that ran past 10 hours, which is rare, goes in as two files, and you can cut at the recess so each half starts cleanly.

Members switch between Tagalog, English and the local language. Does that work?

Tagalog, Filipino and English are detected automatically, and Taglish switches inside one session are handled. Cebuano, Ilocano, Hiligaynon, Waray, Bikol and Kapampangan are supported, but they come back as a fast first draft, so plan one review pass over those parts.

Is this the official journal of the session?

No. It is a working text for the secretary and staff who prepare the official minutes and journal. Exports are TXT, DOCX, SRT, VTT and JSON, and for a session that touches sensitive matters, note that recordings are transcribed on our own servers and are never used for training.
