How to transcribe a Spanish sermon from the replay link or the audio file.
Paste the sermon's YouTube replay link or upload the audio, and WhipScribe detects Spanish on its own, takes up to 10 hours or 5 GB per file and works at about 2 minutes per audio hour, so a 50-minute sermon is text in under 2 minutes. The opening minutes are a free preview; a full 2-hour service uses 120 minutes of the $4 pack (300 minutes), and uploads up to 5 GB need no pack at all.
From the pulpit to the page
Three ways the sermon reaches WhipScribe.
A livestream replay
If the service was streamed on YouTube, paste the replay link once the stream has ended; there is nothing to download. Vimeo links and a podcast feed of the sermons work the same way.
A file from the sound desk
A recorder or mixing desk usually saves an MP3 or WAV. The box here takes up to 500 MB, and a bigger file moves on to the upload page, up to 10 hours or 5 GB. Uploading only the sermon portion uses fewer minutes than the whole service, and trimming the welcome and the closing songs takes a minute in any audio editor.
Older sermons on CD or DVD
Discs and tapes need to be digitised first: rip the CD or capture the DVD audio on a computer, then upload the files. We do not digitise media, but every digitised file is treated like a new one.
What the congregation gets
A brief with the sermon's main point and takeaways, chapters for the readings and each section, the Bible references and dates mentioned, and captions in SRT or VTT. The preacher and any guest reader are named in the summary and chapters.

FAQ
Spanish sermons, answered.
Is the worship music transcribed?
No. Music, sound effects and applause are not transcribed; the speech is. A song leader's spoken welcome or a prayer between songs is kept, which is usually what people want.
What does a year of weekly sermons cost?
Fifty-two sermons of 50 minutes are 2,600 minutes. Packs start at $4 for 300 minutes, and credits never expire. A quarter of sermons, 650 minutes, fits the $18 pack.
Our preacher mixes in English. Is that a problem?
No. The recording is detected on its main language, Spanish, and English words inside the preaching are handled. A fully bilingual service with long English and Spanish blocks reads best uploaded as two files, cut where the language changes.
How long can the replay be?
Up to 10 hours per file. A replay that runs past 6 hours, such as an all-day conference stream, starts once a pack is on the account; anything longer than 10 hours or 5 GB goes in as two parts.
Can we put the text on our website?
Yes, export DOCX or TXT for a written version and SRT or VTT for captions on the video. Read names and Scripture references once before publishing; that review is quick with the timestamps.
Are our recordings kept private?
They are transcribed on our own servers and never used for training. The opening minutes of your first recording are free, so you can see one sermon's text before anyone buys a pack.
