Spanish-language congregations · 90 to 120 minute services

Transcribe a Spanish church service and give the sermon a second life in text.

A 2-hour Spanish-language church service comes back as text in about 4 minutes, with Spanish detected automatically, and four such services, 480 minutes, fit the $6 pack of 500 minutes after the first 20 minutes free. The worship music is not transcribed; the sermon, the announcements and the prayers spoken aloud are.

For church media teams

The pastor preaches the message on Sunday morning. The transcript lets it reach the people who were not in the room.

The sermon's outline, written out

The brief opens with the message's thesis and its takeaways, a ready start for the bulletin, the small-group guide or the week's social posts.

Every passage cited

Book, chapter and verse references said aloud are listed with timestamps, along with dates and names from the announcements.

Subtitles for the replay

Download SRT or VTT and add Spanish captions to the service video, so members watching on a phone without sound can follow. The captions keep the timing of the spoken parts, and the song sets carry no captions because the music is not transcribed.

The back catalogue at once

Paste a Google Drive folder of last year's services, or send a full-length service video through the upload page.

Why the sermon disappears

A Sunday service is posted, watched once and forgotten by Wednesday.

✗ The usual week

The media team posts the video, the pastor's notes stay on paper, and anyone who wants a quote has to rewatch two hours.

  • No text of the sermon for the website
  • Volunteers typing notes late into the night
  • Bilingual services that English-only tools miss
  • Captions skipped because they take too long
  • Scripture references lost inside the video
  • A camera file too big to share easily

✓ With the transcript

Upload on Sunday afternoon and the text is ready before the team goes home.

  • Full text of the sermon in Spanish
  • Chapters running from the welcome to the bendición
  • Scripture and announcement dates listed
  • The preacher and guest speakers named in the summary
  • SRT and VTT to caption the replay
  • A month of 2-hour services on the $6 pack

Sample output

A Sunday sermon in Spanish, with an English closing.

An invented sermon excerpt for illustration only; no real congregation, church or pastor is quoted.

FAQ

Spanish church services, answered.

How long does a 2-hour Spanish service take to transcribe?

Roughly 4 minutes, at the usual pace of about 2 minutes of processing for each hour recorded. A 90-minute service is closer to 3, so the text can be ready while the sanctuary is still emptying, and the media team can start on the week's posts before lunch.

What do a month, a quarter and a year of Spanish services cost?

One 2-hour service uses 120 minutes, so four Sundays, 480 minutes, fit the $6 pack of 500 minutes. A quarter of thirteen services, 1,560 minutes, fits the $12 pack of 2,000 minutes, and forty 2-hour services, 4,800 minutes, fit the $24 pack of 5,000 minutes. For a media team that records every week, a $19/month Workspace is also available.

The service video is large. Will it upload?

Video size is bitrate times length: at 5 Mbps, one hour is 5,000,000 bits per second times 3,600 seconds divided by 8, about 2.25 GB, so a 2-hour service is about 4.5 GB. That is under the 5 GB per-file limit but over the 2 GB allowed before a first pack, so it starts once a pack is on the account. If the service is on YouTube, paste the link instead.

What happens to the worship songs?

The coros and hymns are not transcribed, and neither is crowd noise; the speech is. Readings, prayers, the sermon and the announcements come through, and the song sets simply leave a gap in the text.

Our services switch between Spanish and English. Is that a problem?

The recording is detected on its main language, Spanish for most of these services, and switches into English are handled in the same pass. You never pick a language; 99 are detected automatically. A guest preacher who speaks in English with a Spanish interpreter at the pulpit produces a recording of both, and both come through as text.

Which exports does the media team get, and is the recording private?

The church gets TXT, DOCX, SRT, VTT and JSON. Recordings are transcribed on our own servers and are never used for training, so prayer requests read aloud stay with the church.
