Transcribe an online class recording and turn it into notes and modules.
A 90-minute Google Meet or Zoom class recorded in the Philippines is transcribed in about 3 minutes, with chapters per lesson segment, a brief and the terms and dates the teacher said. The first 20 minutes are free, and the $6 pack of 500 minutes covers five 90-minute classes.
For teachers and students
Since remote learning began, many classes in the Philippines are recorded, and most of those recordings are never opened again. Text changes that.
A brief students actually read
The brief gives the lesson's main idea and the takeaways in a few lines. Absent students read it first, then open the chapters for the part they need.
Lesson segments as chapters
Discussion, examples, activity, assignment: chapters mark each segment with a title and a time, so a 2-hour class can be skimmed like a module.
Dates and deadlines, pulled out
Names, numbers and dates said in class, including the deadline the teacher mentioned at the end, are listed with timestamps. Nobody has to ask in the group chat again.
Meet recordings straight from Drive
A Google Meet recording usually saves to the organiser's Google Drive. Share it and paste the link, or a whole folder of a term's classes; a Zoom MP4 on your laptop can go through the upload page.
Why recordings go unwatched
A 2-hour class video is too long to rewatch for one example, so most students never do.
✗ Using the raw recording
Teachers record classes for absent students and for review, then the files pile up in Drive. A student looking for one explanation has to scrub, and a teacher writing a module starts again from memory.
- Absent students rewatching full classes
- Teachers retyping lessons into modules
- Deadlines buried at the end of a video
- Tagalog explanations English tools garble
- Classes split into parts after a dropped connection
- No list of what each class covered
✓ The class, as text
One searchable text per class, with chapters, a brief and the details already lifted out.
- A brief with the lesson's main idea
- Chapters per lesson segment
- Dates and terms with timestamps
- Questions the class answers, ready for a quiz
- Five 90-minute classes on the $6 pack
- DOCX that becomes a handout or module

FAQ
Online class recordings, answered.
How long until a 90-minute class is ready?
About 3 minutes; processing takes roughly 2 minutes per hour of audio. A 3-hour class is done in around 6.
What does a whole term of recorded classes cost?
A 90-minute class uses 90 minutes of credit, so five fit the $6 pack of 500 minutes with 50 to spare. A student keeping one subject's classes, twenty of 90 minutes, uses 1,800 minutes on the $12 pack of 2,000 minutes. A teacher with three 90-minute classes a week for a 16-week term records 4,320 minutes, which fits the $24 pack of 5,000 minutes; a department that records every week can also look at the $19/month Workspace.
How big can a class recording be?
One recording can be up to 10 hours or 5 GB, whichever comes first. Until the first pack is bought, uploads go up to 2 GB; a larger class video starts once a pack is on the account. A Drive share link needs no upload at all.
Can a student transcribe a teacher's recording?
Yes, when the teacher has shared it with the class. Transcribe what you are allowed to download or open by link, and ask before passing the text beyond the class.
What if the class is taught in Cebuano or Hiligaynon?
Tagalog, Filipino and English are detected automatically, and a class that switches between English and Tagalog is handled in one pass. Classes taught in Cebuano, Hiligaynon, Waray or another regional language are supported, but they come back as a fast first draft, so plan one review pass.
Which exports are there, and is the class kept private?
TXT and DOCX for notes and modules, SRT and VTT to caption the class video, and JSON. For a school asking where recordings go: recordings are transcribed on our own servers and are never used for training.
