Transcribe a 3-hour counselling training and keep the workshop as study notes.
A 3-hour counselling training recording is 180 minutes of audio and comes back as text in about 6 minutes. The first 20 minutes are free, a $6 pack of 500 minutes covers the rest, and this page is about training: lectures, skills workshops and practice role-plays, not recordings of real client sessions.
What a training recording turns into
A long workshop is dense with technique. The text lets trainees go back to the exact words of a demonstration.
Six minutes for a half-day module
Counselling workshops and continuing-education modules often run three hours with a break in the middle. At about 2 minutes per audio hour, the whole recording is processed in roughly 6 minutes, so the text is ready while the material is still being discussed in the cohort chat.
Demonstrations you can study line by line
When a trainer models a reflective response or a reframing in a role-play with a volunteer trainee, the transcript keeps the exact wording with a timestamp. Trainees can reread the phrasing and then jump to that minute in the video to hear the tone.
A chapter for each module
Chapters with timestamps mark where the workshop moves from theory to demonstration to small-group practice and questions. The brief lists the models, names and dates that were mentioned, and the questions the session answers, which makes a sound base for a study guide.
Training only, said plainly
This is for teaching material: lectures, workshops, supervision skills training and role-plays between consenting trainees. It is not a clinical tool, it is not a medical device, and it is not meant for recordings of real client sessions or anything about care decisions.
Why trainees rewatch instead of reread
A three-hour video is hard to revise from. Most people scrub back and forth and give up.
✗ Revising from the video alone
Without text, finding one technique in a three-hour workshop means scrubbing the timeline and hoping.
- Scrubbing three hours to find one exchange
- Handwritten notes that miss the exact phrasing
- Captions copied out of a player by hand
- Free tiers that end long before the break
- Modules with no index or chapter marks
- Role-play wording remembered wrongly
✓ The workshop as a document
The whole recording comes back as one transcript with chapters, so revision starts from the page and goes to the video only when needed.
- Six minutes or so for the whole module
- First 20 minutes free
- At least 320 minutes left on a $6 pack
- Exact wording of each demonstration
- Chapters by module and practice round
- SRT or VTT to caption the training video

FAQ
Three-hour counselling training, answered.
How long does a 3-hour training recording take?
Around 6 minutes. Processing needs about 2 minutes per audio hour. The proof page shows a 2.48-hour recording finished in 200 seconds, and three hours sits just above that.
What does a 3-hour workshop cost?
A three-hour module uses 180 minutes. The first 20 are free for a first-time visitor, and a $6 pack of 500 minutes covers the rest with at least 320 minutes to spare. A full certificate course of ten three-hour modules is 1,800 minutes and fits the $12 pack of 2,000 minutes.
Can I use this for recordings of client sessions?
No. This page and this service are described for training material: lectures, workshops, practice role-plays between trainees and recorded teaching. It is not a clinical tool or a medical device and says nothing about patient care.
How big is a 3-hour training video, and will it upload?
It depends on how it was recorded. Three hours of 128 kbps MP3 is about 175 MB, while a full-HD video of the same session can run past a gigabyte. Files up to 2 GB upload before the first pack, and up to 5 GB after one, so a three-hour module never needs splitting.
Which languages are covered?
99 languages are detected automatically, and nothing needs choosing first. A workshop that switches between two languages is transcribed on its main language, so check quoted passages in the second language by ear.
Which downloads do trainers get, and is the recording private?
Every format comes from the same pass: TXT, DOCX, SRT, VTT and JSON; SRT and VTT caption the training video directly. Recordings are transcribed on our own servers and are never used for training any model, and the trainer can delete the file at any time.
