Transcribe a 3-hour webinar and publish the replay with captions the same day.
A 3-hour webinar is 180 minutes of presentation and Q&A, and it comes back as timestamped text in about 6 minutes; a Zoom or Teams cloud recording of that length is commonly 500 MB to 1.5 GB as MP4, or around 80 to 170 MB as audio only. The first 20 minutes are free, and a $6 pack of 500 minutes covers the webinar with at least 320 minutes left for the next one.
After the webinar ends
Three hours of slides, demos and audience questions, ready to caption, quote and repurpose.
From the platform to text
Upload the MP4 or M4A your webinar platform saved, or paste the replay link if it streamed to YouTube Live or sits on Vimeo or Google Drive. No bot joins the live event; the work starts from the recording, at about 2 minutes per audio hour.
Chapters by speaker and segment
A three-hour webinar usually has a welcome, two or three presenters, a demo and a long Q&A. Timestamped chapters mark those blocks, and the presenters are named in the summary, key quotes and chapters, so the replay page can link straight to each talk.
Captions for the replay
SRT and VTT come from the same pass as the transcript, timed to the recording, so the on-demand version has captions without a second job. TXT and DOCX make the follow-up blog post and the attendee recap.
The questions, answered
The brief lists the questions the recording answers, which for a webinar is often the most useful part: what the audience actually asked. The chat lets marketing or support pull every mention of pricing or a feature from three hours of talk.
What usually happens to the recording
Most long webinars are watched live once and then sit in a folder.
✗ The replay nobody finishes
Three hours is too long to rewatch, so the questions and the best lines get lost.
- Replay posted without captions
- Q&A answers never written down
- Speaker quotes taken from memory
- Blog recap written from the slides
- Recording too large for many free tools
- Content team waits a week
✓ A webinar you can reuse
The recording comes back as text, chapters and captions the same afternoon.
- About 6 minutes for three hours
- Captions as SRT and VTT
- Chapters to link from the replay page
- Audience questions in the brief
- Quotes with timestamps for social posts
- A $6 pack with 320+ minutes to spare

FAQ
Three-hour webinars, the usual questions.
How long does a 3-hour webinar take to transcribe?
About 6 minutes once the file is in, at roughly 2 minutes per hour of audio. A pasted replay link adds the time it takes to fetch the recording.
What does it cost, for one webinar and for a series?
One three-hour webinar is 180 minutes on the $6 pack of 500 minutes. A quarterly series of four is 720 minutes and fits the $12 pack of 2,000. A monthly three-hour series for a year is 2,160 minutes and fits the $24 pack of 5,000 with 2,840 left. A team that runs webinars every week may prefer the $19/month Workspace instead.
Our recording is larger than 2 GB. Will it work?
Before the first pack, files up to 2 GB upload; after it, up to 5 GB. A gallery-view recording in high resolution can pass 2 GB, so either add a pack first or download the audio-only file your platform offers.
Can I paste a YouTube Live link instead of downloading?
Yes. YouTube videos and live replays, Vimeo, and Google Drive share links paste straight in. For a platform without a public replay link, download the recording and upload it.
What about a multi-day virtual summit?
Send each day or each session as its own file. One file can be up to 10 hours or 5 GB, so even a full summit day fits; a stream that ran past 10 hours needs to become two files.
Is attendee audio kept private?
Every recording is transcribed on our own servers and is never used for training. You can delete the recording and its transcript whenever your event policy requires.
