Transcribe a 6-hour lecture day morning to late afternoon, one document.
A 6-hour lecture day is 360 minutes of audio and comes back as one timestamped transcript in about 12 minutes, at roughly 2 minutes per audio hour. Packs start at $4 for 300 minutes, and credits never expire.
A full day of classes
Spend the evening reviewing, not rewinding.
How lecture days get recorded
Students usually leave a phone running on the desk; teaching staff get lecture-capture video or a Zoom or Teams recording of a hybrid day. One continuous recording is fine, and so are separate files per class if your recorder split them. Large video exports go through upload page.
Twelve minutes, then study
Processing takes about 2 minutes per audio hour, so the whole day is ready roughly 12 minutes after upload. Close the tab if you like: the transcript waits in your Library.
Each class becomes a chapter
Chapters follow the shifts between lectures and between topics within them, so the afternoon statistics class does not blur into the morning seminar. The brief pulls out the definitions, dates and figures lecturers gave, and the chat answers questions like what was said about the exam format.

FAQ
Transcribing a 6-hour lecture day: the questions.
How long does a full lecture day take?
About 12 minutes for 360 minutes of audio. Longer days scale the same way: eight hours is roughly 16 minutes. The proof page lists a 9.31-hour file finished in 1,033 seconds, for anyone who wants to see real timings.
Do I need a pack for a whole day?
Every recording starts with a free preview of its opening minutes, which shows how the transcript reads. Packs start at $4 for 300 minutes, and credits never expire.
Should I record one file or one per class?
Either works. One file keeps a single clock for the day; separate files give each class its own brief and chapters. A single file can be up to 10 hours or 5 GB. If you recorded on a phone, keep it near the lecturer rather than in a bag; distance matters more than the device.
The lecture-capture video is 3 GB. Can I upload it?
Before a pack is on the account, uploads go up to 5 GB, and the same with a pack. Exporting just the audio is quicker to upload and uses the same minutes.
What if a lecturer switches between languages?
99 languages are detected automatically, and a recording that switches language is detected on its main language. English technical terms inside another language are handled.
Which exports, and does anyone else get my recording?
You can export TXT, DOCX, SRT, VTT and JSON. Your lecture audio is transcribed on our own servers and is never used for training. Check your course's rules on recording before you press record.
