Transcribe a 90-minute sermon and have the notes ready by Monday.
A 90-minute sermon is transcribed in about 3 minutes, at roughly 2 minutes per hour of audio, from a soundboard MP3 of around 86 MB or straight from the livestream link. It uses 90 of the 300 minutes in the $4 pack, and the opening minutes are a free preview.
From the pulpit to the page
The whole message in writing, with every passage it opened.
Livestream, podcast or soundboard
Many churches stream the service to YouTube, publish the message as a podcast, or record it from the soundboard. A YouTube live replay and a podcast RSS feed can both be pasted as links. A soundboard MP3 of ninety minutes is around 86 MB; a Facebook stream is downloaded first and then uploaded.
Done before the coffee
Ninety minutes of preaching takes about three minutes to process, at roughly 2 minutes per audio hour. If you upload the whole two-and-a-half-hour service instead, it is about five minutes, and the singing is simply not transcribed.
Fifty-two Sundays, counted
Packs start at $4 for 300 minutes. A full year of weekly sermons is 4,680 minutes, which fits the $32 pack of 6,000 with 1,320 left for midweek studies. Credits never expire, so a quiet summer costs nothing.
What the brief gathers
The brief states the message's thesis and takeaways, chapters mark each point of the outline, and the scripture references, names and dates that were spoken are listed. Guest preachers are named in the summary and key quotes. From that text, a blog post, a small-group guide and a newsletter excerpt are an afternoon's work.
Why long sermons rarely reach print
Ninety minutes of preaching is too long to retype and too good to leave on a replay.
✗ The sermon stays on video
The message is preached once, posted, and rarely watched in full afterwards.
- A volunteer typing for an evening
- Scripture references guessed from memory
- Small groups working from a vague outline
- Auto-captions that garble names from the text
- No archive to search by topic
- Hearing-impaired members left to lip-read
✓ The sermon as text
The full message in writing, ready to edit into notes, captions and study material.
- Ninety minutes of preaching, about 3 to process
- Free preview of the opening minutes to test
- Packs from $4 for 300 minutes
- Scripture references listed in the brief
- Each point of the outline as a chapter
- SRT and VTT captions for the replay

FAQ
Ninety-minute sermons, the common questions.
How long does a 90-minute sermon take to transcribe?
About 3 minutes. Processing runs at about 2 minutes per audio hour, so the transcript is usually ready before the livestream replay has finished uploading on the church's side.
Can I paste the YouTube or podcast link?
Yes. YouTube links, including live-stream replays, are fetched directly, and so are podcast RSS feeds, Vimeo and Google Drive share links. For Facebook, download the recording and upload the file.
What will a year of sermons cost?
Packs start at $4 for 300 minutes, and credits never expire. Weekly for a year is 4,680 minutes, on the $32 pack of 6,000. If you also transcribe a weekly hour-long Bible study, add 3,120 minutes and plan a second pack.
Is the worship music transcribed too?
No. Music, singing and congregation noise are not transcribed; the spoken parts are. Announcements and prayers are kept because they are speech, so you may want to trim the opening and closing of the service in the edit.
Our church preaches in Spanish, Korean or Tagalog. Does it work?
Yes. 99 languages are detected automatically, so a Spanish, Korean or Tagalog sermon needs no setting. English words and Bible book names inside other-language preaching are handled, and the recording is read on its main language.
Which exports, and what happens to the recording?
You get TXT, DOCX, SRT, VTT and JSON. DOCX for sermon notes, SRT or VTT for captions on the replay. Every sermon is transcribed on our own servers and is never used for model training.
