Transcribe a whole day of recordings sessions, breaks and all.
A whole day of recordings, typically about 8 hours or 480 minutes, fits inside the $6 pack of 500 minutes and processes in about 16 minutes, whether it is one long file or several. Each file can run up to 10 hours or 5 GB, and your first recording gets the first 20 minutes free.
Planning a full day
One file or ten, the day comes back in order.
If you recorded it as one file
A recorder left running from nine to five makes one file of about eight hours, which is within the 10-hour line. Upload it whole, and the chapters mark where each session starts. Long silences during breaks cost nothing in reading time, since there is no speech to transcribe there.
If you have a file per session
Upload them one after another, or put them in a Google Drive folder and paste the folder link. Each session comes back as its own transcript with its own brief. Name the files by session before uploading and the list in your account reads like the programme.
The arithmetic for one day
Eight hours is 480 minutes, so the $6 pack covers it with 20 to spare. A nine or ten-hour day needs 540 to 600 minutes, which points to the $12 pack of 2,000.
When it is every week
Recording full days regularly adds up quickly, and the $12 and $24 packs bring the rate down to $0.36 and $0.29 an hour. Teams can also use the $19 a month Workspace.
Getting a day into text
A week of typing, or a quarter of an hour.
✗ The usual approach
A full day of audio is often left untouched because nobody has the time to go through it.
- Recordings sit unlistened in a folder
- Notes from whoever happened to take them
- Afternoon sessions summarised least
- Files cut to fit a small upload limit
- Nothing searchable from one session to the next
- Quotes found by scrubbing the audio
✓ The day, transcribed
Every session goes in, and the day becomes searchable text.
- Eight hours of audio processed in about 16 minutes
- Each file up to 10 hours or 5 GB
- Chapters and a brief for every session
- Names, figures and dates listed
- A chat to ask what was said in any session
- Exports for the write-up and captions

FAQ
Questions about a full day of audio.
Can I transcribe a whole day of recordings?
Yes. A day of about 8 hours is 480 minutes, which fits the $6 pack of 500. Send it as one file of up to 10 hours or 5 GB, or as several files.
How long does a full day take to process?
Roughly a quarter of an hour for 8 hours of audio, at roughly 2 minutes per hour. Separate files are processed as they arrive.
My day ran past 10 hours. What then?
Cut it once, for example at lunch, and upload the two halves. Each half gets its own transcript and chapters.
Can I upload a folder of recordings at once?
Put the files in a Google Drive folder, share it, and paste the folder link. The files are fetched from Drive, so nothing needs to upload from your computer.
Does it handle different languages through the day?
Yes. 99 languages are detected automatically for each file, so a session in Spanish and another in English are each transcribed in their own language.
What exports are there, and where are the recordings processed?
TXT, DOCX, SRT, VTT and JSON for every file. Recordings are transcribed on our own servers and are never used for training, and each can be deleted on its own.
