How long does a whole conference take to transcribe?
About 2 minutes per hour of audio per recording; a six-hour room recording takes roughly twelve minutes. A large event is worked through file by file, and you do not have to keep the page open.
What does three days of recordings cost?
Three days, four rooms and six hours a room is 72 hours, or 4,320 minutes, covered by the $24 pack (5,000 minutes). A one-day event with two rooms of seven hours is 840 minutes, which fits one $12 pack (2,000 minutes).
A room's full-day recording is several gigabytes. Will it upload?
Each room's day can be one file of up to 5 GB and 10 hours. Before your first pack, uploads go up to 2 GB; a larger file starts once a pack is on the account. Drive and YouTube links skip the upload.
Should we send a file per talk, or per room per day?
Either works as long as each file is under 10 hours. A file per talk gives each speaker their own transcript; a file per room per day is less work, and the chapters mark where each talk starts.
Some sessions are in other languages. Is that handled?
Yes. Each recording's language is detected automatically from 99, so a Spanish track and an English track in the same folder each come back in their own language.
Which exports are there, and who can see the recordings?
TXT, DOCX, SRT, VTT and JSON for every session. Recordings are transcribed on our own servers and are never used for training, which matters for sessions that were members-only or under embargo.
