Transcribe an Arabic khutbah and share it as text after Jumu'ah.
A 30-minute Arabic khutbah recorded in Australia is transcribed in about a minute, with Arabic detected automatically and the English section many imams add handled in the same pass. A first-time visitor's khutbah of up to 20 minutes is transcribed in full free, and a year of 30-minute Friday khutbahs, 1,560 minutes, fits the $12 pack of 2,000.
For the people who record Jumu'ah
The khutbah is heard once on Friday. As text, it can be read, shared and studied all week.
The message, summarised
The brief gives the khutbah's central theme and its practical takeaways, a starting point for the newsletter, the website or a youth circle.
Verses and hadith located
Quotations said aloud are in the text with their timestamps. Check quoted verses against the mushaf before publishing, since recited passages carry vowels and pauses that plain text may not show.
Subtitles for the recording
SRT and VTT give Arabic captions for the khutbah video, timed to the speech, for viewers who watch on their phones without sound.
Ramadan, lesson by lesson
Nightly talks and weekend lessons of an hour or more upload the same way; thirty one-hour Ramadan lessons, 1,800 minutes, fit the $12 pack.
Why the khutbah fades
The recording goes on the channel, and by the next Friday few people go back to it.
✗ Recording only
The khutbah is posted as video, and a volunteer is asked to write a summary in English for the newsletter. Many in the congregation speak English as their first language and catch only part of the Arabic, and converts may follow even less.
- Typing Arabic by hand
- Tools that expect English only
- The English section split from the Arabic
- Quotations hard to find again
- No captions for the video
- A khutbah archive nobody can search
✓ Khutbah as text
Upload after Jumu'ah and have the text before Asr. The committee can post the Arabic text beside the English portion on the website, and teachers can use it for the weekend class.
- Arabic text of the khutbah
- The English portion in the same file
- Chapters at each theme
- The khateeb named in the summary
- Quoted verses listed with timestamps
- SRT and VTT for the replay
Sample output
An Arabic khutbah on patience, with the opening and a reminder.
Illustrative lines written for this page; no real mosque or imam. In English: praise be to God, we praise Him and seek His help; dear brothers, patience is half of faith; God loves those who are patient; now I will repeat the main points in English.

FAQ
Arabic khutbahs, answered.
Is the first khutbah really free?
A first-time visitor gets the first 20 minutes free: a khutbah of 20 minutes or less is transcribed in full, and a longer one is previewed, with a pack from $6 carrying on from where the preview ended.
What does a year of Fridays cost?
A 30-minute khutbah uses 30 minutes of credit. Sixteen khutbahs, 480 minutes, fit the $6 pack of 500; fifty-two of them, 1,560 minutes, fit the $12 pack of 2,000. If the khutbahs run 45 minutes, a year is 2,340 minutes and fits the $24 pack of 5,000 with room for Ramadan lessons.
The khutbah is in Arabic and then English. Do I upload them separately?
No. Upload the whole recording. It is detected on its main language, and the English section is handled in the same transcript.
Does it work for dialect as well as formal Arabic?
Arabic is detected automatically whether the speaker uses formal Arabic or slips into everyday speech. Read names and quotations back before publishing the text. An imam who quotes a line of poetry or a saying in a regional dialect comes through in the same transcript.
How long does it take, and what are the limits?
About 2 minutes per hour of audio, so a 30-minute khutbah is ready in about a minute. A single file can run up to 10 hours or 5 GB; before the first pack, uploads go up to 2 GB. A weekend lecture of two hours takes about 4 minutes.
Who sees the recording?
Khutbahs are transcribed on our own servers and are never used for training. The text downloads as TXT, DOCX, SRT, VTT or JSON.
