Transcribe board meetings and AGMs from New Zealand, decisions included.
A four-hour board meeting or AGM from New Zealand is ready as text in about 8 minutes, and the first 20 minutes are free. The full 240 minutes fit on a $6 pack of 500 minutes, with 260 left for the next meeting.
What a long meeting looks like here
Every motion, number and deadline, found without replaying the afternoon.
The numbers, already listed
Revenue lines, budget figures, the dates of the next reporting period and the names of directors are among the names, numbers and dates pulled out of the recording, each with a timestamp you can check against the audio.
Chapters by agenda item
Apologies, the chair's report, financials, general business: chapters follow the meeting as the topic changes, so the secretary can go straight to the discussion behind a resolution.
A year of board meetings
Twelve monthly meetings of three hours each come to 2,160 minutes. That is just above the $12 pack, so it goes on the $24 pack of 5,000 minutes and leaves 2,840 for the AGM and committees.
Hybrid meeting, one recording
If the meeting ran on Zoom or Teams, save the recording and drop it on upload page. No bot joins the call, and nobody in the room has to install anything.
Why board recordings are awkward elsewhere
Minutes compress hours. Finding the hour behind one line is the hard part.
✗ Minutes from memory and notes
Without a searchable record, a disputed figure means replaying the recording from the top.
- Three hours replayed to check one figure
- A note-taker who missed the motion
- Meeting bots some directors object to
- A monthly plan for twelve meetings a year
- Timestamps lost when a file is cut
- Action items buried in the discussion
✓ The meeting, searchable
One recording in, a timed document out, with the decisions easy to find.
- Four hours turned round in ~8 minutes
- Figures and dates listed
- Chapters by agenda item
- A chat to ask what was decided
- DOCX for the minute book draft
- 20 free minutes to check it

FAQ
Board meetings and AGMs in New Zealand, the common questions.
How long does a four-hour meeting take to transcribe?
Close to 8 minutes, with each hour of audio taking about 2 to process. A two-hour board meeting usually comes back in around 4, and a five-hour AGM in about 10.
What does a four-hour AGM cost?
240 minutes. A first-time visitor reads the first 20 free, and the $6 pack of 500 minutes transcribes the rest at $0.72 per audio hour. For a year of meetings, the $24 pack of 5,000 minutes brings the rate to about $0.29.
How large can the recording be, and does it need splitting?
No split is needed for any normal meeting: one file can run to 10 hours or 5 GB. Uploads before the first pack go up to 2 GB; a long video of the meeting can exceed that, so either buy the pack first or save the audio track.
Which languages can a meeting be in?
99, detected automatically, with each recording detected on its main language. A meeting held in English with a mihi or karakia in te reo Māori is transcribed as English, so check those passages against the audio.
Which formats come back, and who can see the recording?
The meeting comes back as TXT, DOCX, SRT, VTT and JSON. Recordings are transcribed on our own servers and are never used for training, and the board can delete a meeting and its transcript at any time.
Can the transcript replace our minutes?
No. Minutes are the board's own record of decisions; the transcript is a timed working source the minute-taker drafts from and checks against. It shows exactly what was said when a line in the minutes is questioned.
