Transcribe CPALE review lectures and find each computation by its timestamp.
A 5-hour review lecture for the CPA Licensure Examination (CPALE) is transcribed in about 10 minutes, with a chapter per problem and the amounts, rates and dates said aloud listed with timestamps. One such lecture uses 300 of the 500 minutes in the $6 pack, and the first 20 minutes are free.
For CPA reviewees
Accounting review is numbers spoken quickly. The transcript holds every one of them still long enough to check.
The figures, lifted out
Amounts, percentages, useful lives and dates said during a worked problem are listed with timestamps, so you can rebuild the solution one step at a time.
One chapter per problem
Long lectures run problem after problem. Chapters mark where each begins, with a title you can scan when you only want the consolidation items.
The rules the lecturer repeated
The brief lists the takeaways the lecturer kept coming back to, which is usually what they want you to remember about a standard or a tax rule.
A long lecture video
A recording on Google Drive or YouTube goes in by link; a large downloaded lecture video can go through the upload page. Either way, the whole five hours stays in one file.
Why pausing the video is not enough
Pausing a 5-hour lecture to copy each figure turns one session into a whole day.
✗ Studying from the recording
Worked problems move fast, and the lecturer often explains a shortcut in Tagalog right after doing the computation in English.
- Figures copied wrong at full speed
- Shortcuts lost because they were said in passing
- Five hours of scrubbing to find one problem
- No index of which lecture took up which standard
- Classmates' notes that disagree on a number
- Video files too large for short upload limits
✓ The same lecture here
The lecture becomes text you can search for an account title or a number. Search for residual value or a specific amount and the transcript takes you to the minute it was worked.
- Every figure said aloud, with its timestamp
- A chapter per worked problem
- The lecturer's repeated rules in the brief
- Questions the lecture answers, listed
- One 5-hour lecture on the $6 pack, 200 minutes left
- DOCX ready for your own notes

FAQ
CPALE review lectures, answered.
How long does a 5-hour lecture take?
Close to 10 minutes, at roughly 2 minutes per hour of audio. A 2-hour lecture is ready in about 4.
What does a CPALE review month cost?
One 5-hour lecture is 300 minutes, inside the $6 pack of 500. Six Sunday lectures of 5 hours, 1,800 minutes, fit the $12 pack of 2,000. Sixteen of them across a season, 4,800 minutes, fit the $24 pack of 5,000.
How large can a CPALE lecture recording be?
Up to 10 hours or 5 GB, whichever comes first, so a lecture rarely needs splitting. A screen recording at 2.5 Mbps is 2,500,000 × 3,600 ÷ 8, about 1.1 GB an hour, so five hours comes to roughly 5.6 GB and is over the limit; saved as a 128 kbps MP3, about 58 MB an hour, it fits easily. Until a first pack is on the account, uploads stop at 2 GB.
Can I transcribe a lecture I can only stream?
Transcribe the lectures you are allowed to download and keep. If a recording is view-only, ask the review program first; the transcript is for your own study.
Does it handle English and Tagalog in one lecture?
Yes. English and Tagalog are detected automatically, and a lecturer moving between them mid-problem is handled. Explanations in Cebuano or Hiligaynon are supported, though they come back as a fast first draft needing one review pass.
Which exports do I get, and is my recording private?
Every lecture exports as TXT, DOCX, SRT, VTT or JSON. Recordings are transcribed on our own servers and are never used for training.
