Transcribe examination for discovery recordings a searchable working copy.
A 7-hour examination for discovery recorded in Canada is transcribed in about 14 minutes, and at 420 minutes it fits the $6 pack of 500. English or French is detected automatically, and the text comes back with timestamps, the undertakings and dates mentioned, and a brief for counsel to work from while the reporter's transcript is prepared.

The day's evidence, searchable the same evening.
Undertakings you can find
A long discovery produces undertakings, refusals and questions taken under advisement scattered across the day. Search the text or ask the chat, and each one comes back with the minute it was given, ready for the follow-up letter.
Dates, amounts, documents
Witnesses give dates, dollar figures and document references from memory. The brief lists the names, numbers and dates that were said, which speeds up the cross-check against the productions. A date the witness corrected later in the day appears both times, at both timestamps.
A working copy, not the record
What comes back is an AI transcript with timestamps for counsel to work from: not the official transcript prepared by the court reporter, not a certified court transcript, and not legal advice. It is a fast way to start the memo while the reporter finishes the record.
Getting the recording in
Discoveries held over video are often recorded on the platform when the parties agree to it. Download the file and drop it on the upload page, or paste a Google Drive link the firm shares internally.

FAQ
Examinations for discovery, the common questions.
How long does a 7-hour discovery take to transcribe?
Roughly 14 minutes, given a pace near 2 minutes per audio hour. A 3-hour examination is ready in about 6, which leaves time to prepare follow-up questions the same afternoon.
What does a multi-day discovery cost?
One 7-hour day is 420 minutes, inside the $6 pack of 500. Three days of 7 hours, 1,260 minutes, fit the $12 pack of 2,000, and a file with discoveries across several witnesses that passes 2,000 minutes moves to the $24 pack of 5,000 at $0.29 an audio hour.
How do we track undertakings across several days?
Search each day's text for the words counsel used, such as undertake, advisement or refuse, or ask the chat to list every undertaking given and the minute it was given. Put the days side by side and the follow-up chart for opposing counsel takes an hour instead of a day.
Does a long recording need splitting?
No, as long as each file stays within 10 hours or 5 GB. Before the first pack, uploads are limited to 2 GB; a long video can pass that, so upload the audio, or buy a pack first and the larger file starts. An unusually long day past 10 hours is uploaded as two files.
English and French?
Both are detected automatically among 99 languages. An examination conducted in one with answers in the other is detected on its main language, and the switches are handled. Where an interpreter was used, both the question and the interpretation are transcribed as spoken.
Which formats come back, and where is the recording processed?
DOCX for the memo, TXT for a litigation support tool, and SRT, VTT and JSON for the file. Recordings are transcribed on our own servers and are never used for training.
