Transcribe a French training day in Canada one chapter per module.
A full-day training given in French in Canada usually runs six to eight hours, and the whole day goes in as one file: 8 hours of audio is transcribed in about 16 minutes. The first 20 minutes are free, and an 8-hour day uses 480 of the 500 minutes in a $6 pack.
What a training day becomes
Eight hours of formation turned into a manual people can search.
No splitting at the lunch break
Morning and afternoon stay in one recording if you keep the recorder running, up to 10 hours or 5 GB. Our public proof shows a 9.31-hour file finished in 1,033 seconds. Upload the day on upload page.
Modules become chapters
The welcome, module one, the case study, the practical exercise, the evaluation: each section of the day gets its own chapter and timestamp, so a participant who missed module three opens it directly.
Steps and terms collected
Procedures read aloud, regulatory terms, software menu names and the dates of follow-up sessions are listed beside the transcript, a fast start for a job aid or a quiz.
Questions from the room
The questions the trainer answers during the day appear in a list with their answers. Later, the chat finds anything else: ask where the trainer explained the second procedure and it points to the passage.
Why training days are lost after the session
A day of explanation that survives only as a slide deck.
✗ After a training without a transcript
The slides survive; the explanations do not.
- Eight hours of video nobody rewatches
- Questions from the floor forgotten
- Uploads cut off at an hour
- Tools that expect English audio
- Files split by hand at lunch
- No way to search the whole day
✓ After a training with a transcript
The whole formation as French text, by module.
- Eight hours back in about 16 minutes
- One file up to 10 hours or 5 GB
- A chapter per module
- Trainer named in summary and quotes
- Steps and terms listed
- Captions for the recorded video

FAQ
French training recordings, the common questions.
How long does an 8-hour training take?
About 16 minutes, because a recording is processed at around 2 minutes per hour of audio. A 6-hour day takes about 12. Our proof page shows a 9.31-hour file done in 1,033 seconds.
What does a week-long training program cost?
Five days of 7 hours is 2,100 minutes, a little more than the $12 pack holds, so it belongs on the $24 pack of 5,000 minutes. One or two training days, up to 1,000 minutes, sit on the $6 or $12 pack. All prices are USD. A training team that runs the same formation every month can keep a pack on the account and draw it down as each session is recorded.
Our day is longer than 10 hours. What then?
Ten hours is the ceiling for a single file, so stop the recorder at a break and start a second file. Each part comes back with its own chapters.
The recording is a 2 GB-plus video. Will it upload?
Files over 2 GB start once a pack is on the account; the per-file limit is 5 GB. Recording audio only, or exporting the audio track, makes an 8-hour day much smaller. Keep the trainer's microphone on if the room has one; the questions from the floor are easier to follow when the trainer repeats them.
Does it handle Quebec French and English terms?
French is detected automatically, Canadian accents included, and a training that slips into English for technical vocabulary is still detected on its main language, with the English handled in the same text. Terms specific to your sector are where a quick review helps most.
Which files come out, and is the recording kept private?
Choose DOCX to build a participant guide, SRT or VTT to caption the recorded session, TXT for a plain copy or JSON for a learning platform. Recordings are transcribed on our own servers and are never used for training.
