Hindi and Hinglish shows · 45 to 120 minute episodes · audio or video

Transcribe a Hindi podcast and ship show notes the same day.

A 75-minute Hindi podcast episode recorded in the United States is transcribed in under 3 minutes, with Hindi detected automatically and the English that guests switch into handled in the same pass. The first 20 minutes are free, and four weekly episodes of 75 minutes, 300 minutes, fit the $6 pack of 500 minutes.

For the podcast producer

The conversation was the easy part. Show notes, timestamps and captions take the rest of the week.

Show notes from the brief

The brief opens with the episode's thesis and takeaways, and the chapters come with timestamps you can paste into the episode description on any platform.

Pull quotes for social

Key quotes are pulled with their timestamps, so the editor cuts the short clip for Reels or Shorts from the right second instead of scrubbing the whole episode.

Captions for the video version

SRT and VTT files add Hindi captions to the YouTube upload, which matters for viewers who watch on a phone with the sound off.

The whole archive at once

Paste the show's RSS feed to bring in past episodes, or upload a multitrack bounce over 500 MB through the upload page.

Where the week goes

A one-hour recording turns into five hours of post-production text work.

✗ Doing it by ear

The producer relistens to find timestamps, types quotes by hand and skips captions because Hindi caption tools are scarce.

  • Relistening to write show notes
  • Quotes typed from memory
  • Caption tools that only know English
  • Hinglish turned into nonsense
  • No searchable archive of episodes
  • Guests' names misspelled in notes

✓ Starting from the transcript

Upload after the edit and draft the episode page before lunch.

  • The episode as Hindi text
  • Timestamped chapters for the description
  • Pull quotes with their times
  • Host and guests named in the summary
  • SRT and VTT for the video cut
  • A year of weekly episodes on $24

Sample output

A Hinglish interview episode, at the parts that become show notes.

Illustrative lines written for this page; no real show, host or guest is quoted. In English: welcome to the show, today our guest has come from the Bay Area; when you came to America, what was the hardest thing; honestly, the first winter was really tough; and a closing request in English to rate the show.

FAQ

Hindi podcasts, answered.

How long does an episode take?

A 75-minute episode takes about 2.5 minutes, and a two-hour long-form conversation about 4, at roughly 2 minutes of processing per hour of audio.

Our guests switch between Hindi and English mid-sentence. Is that OK?

Yes. The episode is detected on its main language, Hindi for most of these shows, and the English inside it is handled in the same pass. An episode spoken mostly in English with Hindi phrases is detected as English.

What does a month, and a year, of episodes cost?

Four weekly episodes of 75 minutes are 300 minutes on the $6 pack of 500. A year of 52 such episodes is 3,900 minutes, which fits the $24 pack of 5,000. Credits never expire, so a season break costs nothing. A $19/month Workspace exists for a team that publishes several shows.

Can I transcribe the back catalogue from our feed?

Paste the podcast's RSS feed or a YouTube link and nothing needs to upload. Files from other hosting platforms can be downloaded and then uploaded; one file can run up to 10 hours or 5 GB, and before a first pack uploads go up to 2 GB.

Will the transcript show which voice is the host and which the guest?

The host and guests are identified and named in the summary, the key quotes and the chapters. The transcript itself is continuous text without a name in front of each line, which is the form most show-notes pages use anyway.

What exports do I get, and are unreleased episodes kept private?

TXT, DOCX, SRT, VTT and JSON. Recordings are transcribed on our own servers and are never used for training, so an episode you have not published yet stays yours.
