Transcribe juku class recordings into notes for the night before the test.
A recorded juku (塾) class of 2 to 3 hours is transcribed into Japanese text in 4 to 6 minutes, with chapters for each problem and topic the teacher covered. The first 20 minutes are free, and two 2.5-hour classes a week for a month, 1,200 minutes, fit on the $12 pack of 2,000 minutes.
What an evening class turns into
The teacher's explanation of problem 4, found in seconds instead of replayed for an hour.
Chapters by problem
Juku classes move problem by problem, and the chapters follow that order with timestamps. Open the chapter for the problem you got wrong and read the explanation, or play that minute of audio again.
Japanese, no setting
Japanese is detected automatically among 99 languages, and the text comes back in Japanese script. Formulas, English vocabulary and kanji readings said aloud are worth checking against the textbook. Proper nouns in a history or 国語 class are the other place to look twice.
Recorded at the desk
A phone or IC recorder on the desk is enough. Ask the juku and the teacher first, since many classes have their own rules about recording, and use the file only for your own review. Long files go in whole on the upload page.
A month on one pack
Eight classes of 2.5 hours make 1,200 minutes, inside the $12 pack of 2,000 minutes. During a short summer course, three classes of 3 hours, 540 minutes, already need more than the $6 pack's 500, so the $12 pack is the one to buy.
Why class recordings pile up
Every class ends up on your phone. Finding one explanation before a test is not.
✗ A phone full of class audio
Students record classes to review later, then never find the time to listen.
- Three-hour files replayed at double speed
- Notes that stopped when the teacher sped up
- No way to search across weeks of classes
- Apps that quit after the first sixty minutes
- An explanation you remember but cannot find
- Revision squeezed into the train ride
✓ Classes you can reread
Each class becomes text with chapters, a brief and the formulas and dates the teacher said.
- Text back about six minutes after upload
- Teacher named in the summary and chapters
- Chapters for each problem
- A chat that answers revision questions
- One pack for a month of classes
- DOCX for printing review sheets

FAQ
Juku class recordings, the questions students ask.
How long does a 3-hour juku class take to transcribe?
About 6 minutes, and a 2-hour class about 4. Upload on the way home and the transcript is ready before dinner. A summer intensive with a 3-hour morning class and a 3-hour afternoon class is about 12 minutes of waiting for the pair.
How much is a month of juku recordings?
Two 2.5-hour classes a week for four weeks is 1,200 minutes, which fits on the $12 pack of 2,000 minutes. A single 2.5-hour class, 150 minutes, fits on the $6 pack of 500 with 350 left. Packs are priced in US dollars, and on a first visit 20 minutes are free.
Will the maths and English words come out right?
The class is transcribed on its main language, so a Japanese class comes back in Japanese. Formulas read aloud, English vocabulary and unusual readings are the parts to check against the textbook.
Is my class recording too big to upload?
No: the per-file ceiling is 10 hours or 5 GB, and 2 GB until a pack is bought. An audio recording of a 3-hour class is far smaller than either.
Can I record my juku class?
Ask the juku and the teacher before recording, and keep the transcript for your own study rather than posting it anywhere. Teachers put work into their explanations, and most are happier to agree when they know the text stays with you. Many schools have rules about recording and sharing class materials.
What formats can I download, and who hears the class audio?
TXT, DOCX, SRT, VTT and JSON. Recordings are transcribed on our own servers and are never used for training.
