Transcribe long audio without an account and decide later.
You can drop a long recording without creating an account and read the first 20 minutes free, at about 2 minutes per audio hour, with files up to 10 hours or 5 GB. To keep the transcript, download it or finish a longer recording, you sign in with an email address; a 2-hour file then needs the $6 pack of 500 minutes for the remaining 100.
What works before you sign in
Start first. An account only matters once you want to keep the result.
Upload straight away
Drop the file or paste a link and it starts, with no account to create first, so you see how your own recording comes out before committing to anything.
The first 20 minutes, free
Anyone new gets the first 20 minutes free. A recording up to 20 minutes is transcribed in full; a longer one shows its opening, which is enough to judge accents, names and sound quality.
An email, not a password
To keep a transcript, download it or carry on past the preview, you sign in with a one-time code sent to your email or with Google. That is the account; there is no profile to fill in.
Pay once, if at all
A 2-hour recording is 120 minutes. After the free 20, the $6 pack of 500 minutes transcribes the rest from where the preview ended and keeps the balance on your account. Credits never expire, and there is no plan to cancel.
Why signup walls hurt long files
Most services ask for a card before you know whether your audio works.
✗ Signup before anything
A form, a password, a trial that turns into a subscription, and only then an upload.
- An account before the first upload
- A card number for a free trial
- A trial that renews monthly
- Free minutes too short for a long file
- No sample of your own audio
- Cancelling takes longer than signing up
✓ Upload first, account later
You see the start of your own recording, then choose whether to keep going.
- No signup to start
- First 20 minutes free
- Email code or Google to keep it
- One-time packs from $6
- Speakers named in the brief, quotes and chapters, signed in or not
- Near 2 minutes per audio hour

FAQ
No account, the questions.
Can I transcribe a long recording without making an account?
You can start one. Drop the file or paste a link and the first 20 minutes are transcribed free. To keep the transcript, download it or finish a longer recording, you sign in with an email code or with Google.
How long does it take?
Near 2 minutes per audio hour, so the opening of a long file is ready within moments and a full 2-hour recording takes around 4 minutes once a pack is on.
What does it cost to finish a long recording?
A 2-hour recording is 120 minutes; after the free 20, the $6 pack of 500 minutes transcribes the rest and leaves at least 380. Ten hours is 600 minutes, which suits the $12 pack of 2,000. Each pack is a one-time buy, and its credits never expire.
Is there a size limit without an account?
A file may be as long as 10 hours or as large as 5 GB. Uploads up to 2 GB start before the first pack. A file over 2 GB, or a stream VOD over 6 hours, starts once a pack is on an account, so those need a sign-in first.
Do I have to subscribe?
No. Packs are one-time purchases, $6 for 500 minutes, $12 for 2,000 and $24 for 5,000. A $19 monthly Workspace exists for teams that record every week, but nobody needs it to transcribe a file.
Which languages and exports, and what happens to the audio?
99 languages, detected automatically. Once you sign in, exports come as TXT, DOCX, SRT, VTT and JSON. Recordings are transcribed on our own servers and are never used for training.
