Transcribe long podcast episodes in Brazil from the RSS feed to the show notes.
A long Brazilian podcast episode of two to four hours transcribes here at about 2 minutes per audio hour, so a 3-hour conversation is back in about 6 minutes, with Portuguese detected automatically. Paste the RSS feed or the episode link, the first 20 minutes are free, a 3-hour episode uses 180 minutes of a $6 pack of 500, and the chapters and brief give you the show notes.
What a long episode becomes
Three hours of conversation, turned into notes, chapters and quotes.
Paste the feed, pick the episode
Podcasts longos are already published, so there is nothing to upload. Paste the RSS feed or the episode page and the audio is fetched for you. A YouTube version of the episode works by link too. upload page
Show notes from the chapters
The transcript is divided into chapters with timestamps as the conversation changes subject. Copy them into the episode description and listeners can skip to the part they came for.
Hosts and guests, by name
Hosts and guests are identified and named in the summary, the key quotes and the chapters. The brief adds the thesis and takeaways, the names and numbers mentioned, and the questions the episode answers.
The back catalogue, too
A show with years of long episodes can work through them on one $24 pack of 5,000 minutes, about 83 hours of audio. The text makes old episodes findable by search engines and by your own listeners.
Why long episodes lose listeners
A four-hour episode is hard to skim and impossible to search.

FAQ
Long podcast episodes, the usual questions.
How long does a 3-hour episode take to transcribe?
About 6 minutes, at roughly 2 minutes per hour of audio. A 4-hour episode is about 8 minutes. Episodes fetched from a feed skip the upload, so the clock starts as soon as you paste the link.
What does a back catalogue cost?
Twenty episodes of 3 hours each is 60 hours, or 3,600 minutes. That is more than the $12 pack of 2,000 holds, so the $24 pack of 5,000 minutes is the right one, at $0.29 an audio hour, with about 23 hours left for new episodes.
Is there a limit on episode length or size?
One episode can be up to 10 hours or 5 GB. An uploaded file over 2 GB starts once a pack is on the account, and a podcast MP3 is nearly always far smaller than that, even at four hours.
Do I need to split a very long episode?
Only past 10 hours. A marathon live recording longer than that goes in as two files; anything shorter comes back as one transcript with chapters across the whole episode.
Does it handle Portuguese with English terms mixed in?
Portuguese is detected automatically, along with 98 other languages. A conversation in Portuguese that borrows English words for tech or business is transcribed on its main language, so read back any long stretches spoken entirely in English.
Which formats can I export, and is my audio used for anything else?
Each episode exports to TXT, DOCX, SRT, VTT and JSON. Recordings are transcribed on our own servers and are never used for training, and an episode and its transcript can be deleted whenever you choose.
