Transcribe long podcast episodes for a Canadian show that runs for hours.
Long podcast episodes from Canadian shows often run two to four hours, which is past what most transcription tools take in one go. Paste the RSS link or upload the episode: three hours comes back in about 6 minutes, and the first 20 minutes are free.
From episode to show notes
The chapters and the quotes your listeners look for, without a rewatch.
The feed is the input
Paste your RSS address and pick the episode, or paste the episode’s page. The audio is fetched from the feed, so a 400 MB master never has to leave the studio drive. upload page
Chapters that become show notes
A long conversation comes back divided into chapters with start times. Those times paste straight into the episode description, and listeners on most apps can jump to the part about the guest’s first company.
Quotes for the clip and the post
Key quotes are listed with the speaker named and the moment they were said. That gives an editor the lines for a social post or a newsletter, and the timestamp to cut the audio from.
What a three-hour episode costs
Three hours is 180 minutes. The $6 pack of 500 minutes covers two such episodes with 140 minutes over, and the credits stay on the account between seasons.
Where long episodes break other tools
The best conversations are the long ones, and the long ones get cut.
✗ Trimmed or skipped
A three-hour interview tends to lose its transcript because no tool takes it whole.

One link or one file, and the full conversation returns with chapters, quotes and a brief.
- Up to 10 hours and 5 GB per file
- About 2 minutes per hour of audio
- Hosts and guests named in the summary
- A list of the books, people and dates mentioned
- A chat to find the bit about the trade deal
- TXT, DOCX, SRT, VTT and JSON

FAQ
Long podcast episodes, the questions hosts ask.
How long does a 3-hour episode take?
About 6 minutes at roughly 2 minutes per hour of audio. A four-hour episode usually takes about 8.
What does it cost to transcribe a whole back catalogue?
Thirty episodes of two and a half hours each are 75 hours, or 4,500 minutes. That fits the $24 pack of 5,000 minutes, which also carries API access for a script that sends each new episode. Ten episodes of the same length, 1,500 minutes, fit the $12 pack of 2,000 minutes. Prices are in US dollars.
Can I paste an RSS feed instead of uploading?
Yes. Paste the feed address or the episode link and the audio is fetched directly. YouTube links work too if the show publishes video there.
My episode file is huge. Will it go through?
A single file can be up to 5 GB and 10 hours. Before the first pack, uploads are capped at 2 GB and a larger file starts once a pack is on the account. An MP3 of three hours is usually a few hundred megabytes.
We record in French, or switch between English and French. Is that supported?
French is one of 99 languages detected automatically. An episode that changes language is detected on its main language, so passages in the other language are worth a listen before they go into show notes.
Which formats do I get, and is my audio used to train anything?
Each episode exports as TXT, DOCX, SRT, VTT or JSON, all from one pass. Recordings are transcribed on our own servers and are never used for training.
