Transcribe conference sessions from a multi-day event in Canada.
A multi-day conference in Canada leaves dozens of session recordings, and organisers want each one as text. Paste the Google Drive folder or upload one file per session: an hour-long session comes back in about 2 minutes, and the first 20 minutes are free.
The whole programme, as text
Every keynote, panel and breakout searchable by the end of the week.
A folder link, not forty uploads
Share the Drive folder that holds the session recordings and paste its link. Each video in it is fetched and transcribed as its own job, so the session titles stay attached to the right text. upload page
One session, one file
Keep each talk or panel as a separate recording rather than one file per room. Each then gets a brief of its argument, chapters for its sections and a list of the figures the speaker cited, which is what attendees search for afterwards.
A programme’s worth of minutes
Three days in four rooms with six hours of sessions each come to 72 hours, or 4,320 minutes. That sits inside the $24 pack of 5,000 minutes, which also includes API access if you want to automate next year’s event.
Panellists named where it matters
The summary and key quotes name each panellist, so a quote from the closing panel can go into the post-event report with its speaker and time. Timestamps on the lines let anyone check it against the video.
Why event recordings sit unused
Fifty sessions recorded, and none of them written up.
✗ A folder nobody opens
After the event, recordings pile up in shared storage and the write-up never happens.
- Sessions downloaded and uploaded one by one
- Room recordings eight hours long with no index
- Speaker slides that do not match what was said
- A recap written from the organiser’s memory
- Captions too expensive for every session
- No way to search all talks for one topic
✓ Every session as a document
Paste the folder and come back to a set of transcripts, each with its own brief and chapters.
- About 2 minutes per hour of audio
- Up to 10 hours and 5 GB per file
- Speakers named in the summary and quotes
- A chat over each session for quick answers
- SRT and VTT to caption the session videos
- DOCX for the post-event report

Illustrative only: this panel was written for this page and does not come from any real event or speaker. Times count from the start of the session file.

FAQ
Conference recordings, the questions organisers ask.
How fast are conference sessions transcribed?
About 2 minutes per hour of audio, so a 45-minute talk is usually ready in under 2 minutes and a 6-hour room recording in about 12. Sessions from a folder run one after another.
What does transcribing a whole conference cost?
A two-day event with 20 one-hour sessions is 1,200 minutes, which fits the $12 pack of 2,000 minutes. A three-day, four-room programme of about 72 hours, 4,320 minutes, fits the $24 pack of 5,000 minutes. Prices are in US dollars.
Can I paste a Google Drive folder?
Yes. Share the folder so the link can be opened, paste it, and each recording inside is transcribed as its own file. A single Drive file link works the same way.
Our room recordings are single files of a full day. Is that fine?
Yes, up to 10 hours and 5 GB per file, or 2 GB before the first pack. You will get chapters at each change of speaker or topic, though one file per session gives cleaner briefs.
Some sessions were in French. Do I need to set anything?
No setting is needed: each file is detected on its main language among 99, French included. A bilingual session is detected on its main language, so its passages in the other language deserve a check against the video.
What exports do we get, and who sees the recordings?
Each session exports to TXT, DOCX, SRT, VTT and JSON. Recordings are transcribed on our own servers and are never used for training.
