Transcribe long podcast episodes from the RSS link.
A long South African podcast episode of two to four hours transcribes in about 4 to 8 minutes, straight from the RSS feed or a YouTube link. The first 20 minutes are free, and a $6 pack of 500 minutes covers two four-hour episodes with show notes, chapters and quotes.
For long-form shows
Show notes, chapters and clips for an episode that ran three hours.
From the feed
Paste the RSS feed or the episode's YouTube link and the audio is fetched for you. Pasting the feed also skips the export and upload wait for a three-hour file. A local export from your editing software goes through upload page.
Chapters for the player
The episode is split into chapters with timestamps that you can paste into the description or the podcast app's chapter list. Listeners skip to the topic they came for.
Show notes from the brief
The brief gives the episode's thesis and main takeaways, plus the names, books, numbers and dates mentioned. That is most of a show-notes page before you edit a word.
Quotes worth posting
Key quotes come with the guest named and the timestamp, so a social post can link straight to the moment. A chat over the text finds the line you half remember.
Why long episodes ship without notes
The longer the conversation, the less time anyone has to write it up.
✗ Notes written from a relisten
Writing show notes for a three-hour episode means listening to all three hours again.
- A full relisten for show notes
- Exporting a smaller file for upload
- Tools that stop at an hour
- Chapters marked by hand
- Guest names misspelt in the notes
- A subscription for a weekly show
✓ Text for the whole episode
The episode comes back with the pieces a show page needs. An editor can turn that into a show page, a newsletter post and a few clips in one sitting.
- A 4-hour episode in roughly 8 min
- RSS and YouTube links
- Chapters ready for the player
- Names and numbers listed
- Guests named in summary and quotes
- Captions for the video cut

FAQ
Long podcast episodes, answered.
How long does a four-hour episode take to transcribe?
About 8 minutes, at roughly 2 minutes per hour of audio, and a two-hour episode about 4. The public proof run on long files did 4.94 hours in 372 seconds.
What would a season of long episodes cost me?
Twelve episodes of three hours are 36 hours, or 2,160 minutes, just over the $12 pack's 2,000, so the $24 pack of 5,000 minutes is the right fit. Two four-hour episodes, 480 minutes, fit on the $6 pack. Credits never expire, and a first-time visitor can hear how the first 20 minutes of an episode came out before buying.
Can I transcribe straight from the RSS feed?
Yes. Paste the podcast's RSS feed or an episode link, or a YouTube link if the show is filmed. No download or upload is needed.
My episode is a 4 GB video. Will it go through?
Yes once a pack is on the account, since one file can be up to 5 GB or 10 hours. Before the first pack the upload limit is 2 GB. The audio-only MP3 of the same episode is far smaller.
Which languages work for South African shows?
English, Afrikaans and Zulu are all among 99 languages detected automatically. An episode that changes language is detected on its main language. Intro music and sound effects are not transcribed; the conversation is.
Which exports, and is the audio kept private?
Export the episode as TXT, DOCX, SRT, VTT or JSON. Episodes are transcribed on our own servers and are never used for training.
