Transcribe long podcast episodes three hours of podd, six minutes.
A 3-hour podd episode is transcribed in about 6 minutes, and a 4-hour one in about 8, straight from the show's RSS feed, an episode link or the audio file. The first 20 minutes are free, and a $6 pack of 500 minutes covers two 3-hour episodes with time left over.
What an episode turns into
A long conversation, with the topics, the quotes and the show notes already drafted.
Start from the feed
A podcast or RSS link works as input, so a published episode needs no download. If the episode is still in your editing software, export an MP3 or WAV and drop it on the upload page instead.
Show notes from chapters
A long conversation drifts across a dozen topics. The chapters mark each turn with a timestamp, which is most of a show-notes list already, and the brief states the episode's main argument in a few lines for the description.
Hosts and guests, named
When a host introduces a guest, that name follows into the summary, the key quotes and the chapters. Pulling a quote for a social post means copying a line that already says who said it and at what minute.
The back catalogue
Thirty episodes averaging 2.5 hours make 4,500 minutes, which fits on one $24 pack of 5,000 minutes, the pack that also includes API access. At about 2 minutes per hour, the whole archive needs roughly two and a half hours of processing.
Where long episodes get stuck
Three hours of talk is past what most podcast tools expect.
✗ Tools sized for short shows
Many transcription tools cap a file near an hour, or sell a monthly allowance that a long show spends in two episodes.
- Exporting and splitting each episode
- Monthly allowances gone by week two

- Show notes written from memory
- Quotes found by scrubbing the waveform
- No text for listeners who prefer to read
✓ Each episode from its link
The episode goes in as it was published and comes back as text, chapters and a brief.
- RSS or episode link, nothing to download
- Six minutes or so for a 3-hour show
- Swedish detected automatically
- Chapters ready for show notes
- Guests credited by name in the brief
- SRT and VTT for the video version

FAQ
Long episodes, answered.
How long does a 3-hour episode take?
About 6 minutes, and a 4-hour episode about 8. The longest public example on our proof page is 9.31 hours processed in 1,033 seconds, a little over 17 minutes.
What do weekly long episodes cost?
Four 3-hour episodes a month make 720 minutes, which suits the $12 pack of 2,000 minutes: close to three months of episodes at that pace. After the first 20 minutes free there is no subscription; you buy minutes when you need them.
Can it read our RSS feed directly?
Yes. Podcast and RSS links are accepted, as are YouTube links for a video edition of the show. Episodes hosted somewhere else can be downloaded and uploaded as MP3, M4A or WAV.
Our raw recording is a 3 GB WAV. Will it upload?
An episode file may run to 10 hours or 5 GB. Until a pack is bought, uploads stop at 2 GB, so a WAV over that starts once a pack is on the account. An MP3 export of the same episode is usually a few hundred megabytes and goes up straight away.
Which languages does it handle?
99, detected automatically, so a Swedish episode comes back in Swedish without a setting. An episode that mixes languages is transcribed on its main language, so a long English interview inside a Swedish show is worth checking by ear.
What can I export, and is an unreleased episode safe?
TXT for a blog post, DOCX for editing, SRT and VTT for the video edition, JSON for a search on your website. An unreleased episode is handled like any other file: recordings are transcribed on our own servers and are never used for training.
