Usually MP4 · session by session · about 2 min per audio hour

Transcribe long recordings from Airmeet one session or the whole event.

To transcribe an Airmeet recording, the organiser downloads the session file (usually an MP4) and uploads it here, up to 10 hours or 5 GB per file, and a 50-minute session comes back in under 2 minutes. A two-day summit of 14 such sessions is 700 minutes, which fits the $12 pack of 2,000 minutes, after the first 20 minutes free on your first visit.

From the event to the text

Every talk from a virtual event becomes a document you can search and quote.

Getting the file out of Airmeet

Session recordings belong to the organiser of the event. Download them from Airmeet after the event ends; the file is usually an MP4, but check the recording and export settings if a session offers more than one version. WhipScribe has no plugin, bot or integration inside Airmeet and works only on the recording you hand it.

Stages, panels and booth talks

A conference or job fair leaves many recordings behind: keynotes, panels, and talks at sponsor booths. Upload each one as its own file, so every session keeps its own clock and its own chapters. When a session was also streamed to YouTube, paste that YouTube link and skip the download entirely.

The arithmetic for a two-day summit

Fourteen sessions of 50 minutes add up to 700 minutes. That is more than the $6 pack holds, so the $12 pack of 2,000 minutes is the one to buy, and 1,300 minutes stay on the account for the next event. At about 2 minutes per audio hour, all 700 minutes finish in roughly 23 minutes of processing.

A recap the team can use

Each session returns with a brief of its thesis and takeaways, chapters with timestamps, the names, numbers and dates the speakers gave, and the questions the talk answered. Speakers are identified and named in the summary, key quotes and chapters, which makes a sponsor report or a blog recap a short job.

Event recordings elsewhere

A finished virtual event usually leaves hours of video that nobody watches again.

✗ The usual afterlife

Sessions recorded, filed and forgotten.

  • Stage recordings nobody has time to rewatch
  • Recap posts written from memory
  • Job-fair talks with no searchable record
  • Sponsors asking what was said at their slot
  • Tools that refuse a long stage video
  • Cutting one stage into pieces to fit

✓ After one upload per session

Each talk comes back whole and readable.

  • The MP4 goes up as Airmeet gave it
  • A 50-minute talk ready in under 2 minutes
  • Chapters that follow each topic
  • Job-fair panelists named in summary and quotes
  • 700 minutes of sessions on the $12 pack
  • Session exports from TXT through JSON

Sample

A job-fair panel from a virtual event, as it comes back.

The panel below is illustrative: we wrote it for this page, and it comes from no real event. The timestamps show a 50-minute panel.

FAQ

Airmeet recordings, the common questions.

How long does an Airmeet session take to transcribe?

About 2 minutes for each hour of audio, so a 50-minute session is done in under 2 minutes and a 6-hour stage recording in about 12. The proof page shows a 4.94-hour file finished in 372 seconds.

What does a whole event cost?

On a first visit the opening 20 minutes are free: a short session transcribes in full and a longer one is previewed. One 50-minute session fits the $6 pack of 500 minutes. Fourteen sessions, 700 minutes, belong on the $12 pack of 2,000 minutes at $0.36 an audio hour.

How big can a file be, and do I need to split a stage recording?

Airmeet downloads can be up to 10 hours or 5 GB each, whichever limit is reached first. Until your first pack, the upload ceiling is 2 GB, and a heavier session file starts as soon as a pack is on the account. Only a stage that ran past 10 hours needs to go up as two files.

Does WhipScribe connect to Airmeet?

No. There is no integration, plugin or bot in Airmeet. You download the recording and upload it, or paste a YouTube, Vimeo or Google Drive link if the session also lives there.

The job fair ran in more than one language. Does that work?

Each recording is detected on its main language, from 99, with nothing to set. A session that switches between two languages is transcribed on the one spoken most.

Which formats come back, and is the audio private?

Session text downloads as TXT, DOCX, SRT, VTT or JSON. Recordings are transcribed on our own servers and are never used for training; delete a session and its text whenever you like.
