Transcribe a long recording made with a BOYA wireless mic straight from the phone that captured it.
A 90-minute interview recorded on a phone through a BOYA wireless mic comes back as text in about 3 minutes; upload the video or audio file the phone saved, up to 10 hours or 5 GB. A first-time visitor gets the first 20 minutes free, and the full 90 minutes use the $6 pack of 500 minutes, leaving 410.
From clip-on mic to readable text
The mic only carries the sound; the file to send is whatever your phone app saved.
Where the sound ends up
Most BOYA wireless kits send audio to a receiver plugged into the phone, so the recording lives in the app you pressed record in rather than on the mic. The camera app usually leaves a video in the gallery or Photos, and a voice recorder app keeps an audio file in its own list, which you can share to Files first. Some newer BOYA transmitters can also record on board, so check the manual for your model.
Audio alone is lighter
A phone video of a long interview can run to several gigabytes, while the transcript needs only the sound. If the clip is over 2 GB and no pack is on the account yet, share just the audio, or use a voice recorder app next time. At 96 kbps an hour of audio is only about 43 MB.
Two people, two transmitters
When interviewer and guest each wear a transmitter, the receiver usually blends both voices into the phone's recording, which is exactly the file this page needs. If your receiver has a split or stereo mode that puts each person on one side, that file works as well, because both sides of the track are heard.
What the interview turns into
Back comes a brief with the thesis and takeaways, chapters with timestamps, and the names, numbers and dates spoken. Both people are named in the summary, key quotes and chapters, and the chat over the transcript finds the moment a topic first came up.
Long phone interviews elsewhere
A budget wireless mic makes long recordings easy to start and awkward to transcribe.

FAQ
BOYA wireless mic recordings, answered.
How long does a 90-minute BOYA interview take?
About 3 minutes. Processing runs near 2 minutes per hour of audio, and a recording made through a budget mic takes no longer than one made through an expensive one.
What will it cost?
A first-time visitor gets the opening 20 minutes free. The whole 90 minutes then come from the $6 pack of 500 minutes, and the 410 left over cover four more interviews of that length. Credits never expire.
Do I upload from the phone or a computer?
Either. On the phone, pick the file from the gallery, Photos or Files when this page asks for one. Over mobile data a large video can be slow, so Wi-Fi or a Google Drive share link is easier.
My video is bigger than 2 GB. What now?
Uploads top out at 2 GB until a pack is on the account, and a larger file starts once one is, up to 5 GB. Sharing only the audio usually brings an hour-long interview well under 100 MB.
Can the guest speak another language?
99 languages, detected from the audio with nothing to choose. A guest who switches between two languages is transcribed on the main one, and Taglish in one recording is handled.
What can I download from a BOYA interview, and who sees it?
The one run gives five files, TXT, DOCX, SRT, VTT and JSON. The interview is transcribed on our own servers and is never used for training.
